This monitor isn't bad for the price that I got it for at the time. The picture and colors are clear meaning that it doesn't look like a 1980s video game, (nothing but pixels). The size is just right for my desk for I use it watch videos and play my XBOX. I've never heard of the manufacturer but so far it's working out well for me.

I have had this monitor for a couple of months now, I have had zero issues with it. I use the HDMI input for my computer, the image is crisp, a lot better than using VGA. I wish the monitor had built in speakers for the HDMI audio but there is only so much you can get from a decently priced monitor. I usually buy Dell monitors but AOC has cheaper monitors but the quality is about the same, if the bevels around the screen don't bother you, this is a great monitor for anyone.

So far, I'm very happy with this monitor. I use it as one of two monitors on my desk, extending my screen across both. I have no complaints about it at all. Are there higher resolution ones with quicker refresh out there? Sure. However, they also cost a lot more. For my normal daily use, this is great, no concerns. It's possible that for some really high resolution games I might notice the refresh rate, but it hasn't bothered me yet. Definitely worth the price.

I'm sure gaming monitors with super fast refresh rates would be better, but for under a $100, this is a great size and monitor. Would recommend if you're just looking for something middle of the line that's cheap.

I'll start this by saying that I would not pay full price ($150) for this monitor. I originally bought one on sale for $80 and liked it enough to buy 3 more for $100 each. It's a really good monitor, but I wouldn't say it's great. There are others in the $150 price range with a better picture, but if you can get it on sale for around $100 then I think it's well worth that. I use this monitor paired up as a second screen with iMac computers and MacBook Pro Retina laptops, which have amazing screen resolution so the AOC monitor just naturally doesn't look as great next to one of those. It serves as a solid second monitor, though. I really love the overall geometric design of the monitor and the matte finish. That was probably one of the main buying features that led me to purchase 3 more after my first. It looks really modern and nice and the screen size is very big. I would recommend this monitor as long as you understand that it's nothing close to a retina or 4k display, but still a very nice picture.

I needed a good-sized monitor for a home desktop system and didn't want to spend a lot of money but wanted something with decent performance. This was on sale at Best Buy for a far better price than I could get anywhere else and I have not been disappointed. It has good overall performance - not spectacular - but unless you are into serious gaming or watch a lot of HD videos it should meet most peoples' needs. The only negative is that I installed the software supplied with it and now I get annoying prompts every time I boot up my system. But you don't necessarily need the software supplied with it unless you want the additional features, it will work just fine without it.

I have an AOC before and was quite satisfied with it- this is a much larger screen and much better resolution. I am very satisfied with it for the price I paid for it which was also on sale.

I've been using it mainly for gaming and it has performed well. Not the best out there, certainly not the worst. The menu is user friendly and easy to navigate with a very nice variety of presets. If you need a good monitor on a budget pick this one up, I doubt you'll find better.

The first monitor I received had a deep gash in top/center of screen. Poor quality control on AOC's part in my opinion. My replacement has a small nick on frame of screen. I needed it and since it was only cosmetic I kept it. Picture quality is great, I have no issues. Everything is working properly. For $99 I find it a real bargain. I did have an issue with the charge on Geek Squad for it. I paid $19.99 and should have paid $9.99. So be sure to check that out in cart before purchasing it. Going back to fix that through the 1-800 number was a nightmare and it took hours. I am very happy with the performance of the monitor.

This AOC is a great multi-use monitor at a very reasonable price. It performs well for general PC use as well as gaming. I tested a Xbox One and PS4 on it. I didn't notice any performance issues while playing. One note for any gamers that want to use this in a similar manner is that there aren't any built in speakers. To compensate, there's an audio out 3.5mm jack on the monitor. I actually prefer this since it allows me to hook up a decent set of speakers directly to the monitor instead of having to rely on weak, built-in speakers. It's light weight enough for me to take on the go and is a perfect mobile gaming companion. The bezel could be smaller and is my main complaint for the monitor but that only impacts a multi monitor setup. The stand on it isn't very adjustable and only offers a slight tilt forward/backward. This can be overcome with a VESA mount since it's compatible. Overall, I'm very happy with this monitor and do recommend it to anyone who wants a decent monitor for a great price.

Bought this as a second monitor to use when working from home and it works great. Takes up minimal desk space and the colors are pretty decent. Easy to hook up and the widescreen display, paired with our 23" all-in-one Dell screen allows me to toggle much less between programs than I have to at work, making me more efficient and more productive. Definitely worth a try if you need a second monitor or even to replace a current one. Comes with the VGA cable as well to save you the cost of a separate purchase, but can be hooked up via USB also.

My daughter wanted the ability to watch TV in her room. So rather than paying $12 a month for a cable box and $300 for a decent TV I purchased a Roku Stick plus this monitor (has HDMI and audio outputs), and a decent set of computer speakers. Now she has HD TV in her room for only $50 + $110 + $25 = $185. I was leary as I had no experience with this brand but I am very please with the colors and resolutin.

Purchased this on sale and am very pleased. Excellent display and response. Very easy to set up. Works well with HDMI cable.

The display is not notably bright, nor is the stand ergonomic. However, for the price, this monitor is perfect for the occasional working from home. The design is unobtrusive and it has an HDMI input.

This is a great monitor for a relatively low price. It did take a bit to get the setting adjusted so is color/brightness/etc matched my existing Samsung LED monitor. The included CD has a nice utility that you can install on your computer to adjust the settings without having to play around with the buttons on the display which is a great feature.

This is a fairly basic monitor, but a great price. Full HD resolution with VGA and HDMI interfaces.

This was great for what I needed - set up my home office with 2 of these. I work IT, dont need it to be fancy or run high end games. Just need lots of real estate to have multiple apps open and running at the same time. 2 of these gets that accomplished - I will say I am impressed with the depth of color and the blacks are a true black. Be aware these only have an HDMI and a SVGA port - 1 each, thats it!

better price for the size of the monitor, would be nice to have built-in speakers
