I was originally going to pick up the LG 27" IPS monitor that was next to this one, but it was out of stock so I decided to pick this up instead. In the store, the colors didn't seem to be as vivid and the anti-glare finish made it seem a bit less bright than others around it as well. I figured this could be due to brightness and contrast settings since the OSD was locked down in the store. Luckily the picture looks superb now that I am actually using it configured with my own settings and in my own lighting. I have another non-IPS 1080p screen right next to it and it is almost the difference between night and day. I knocked off a star since the base doesn't provide much stabilization if being used on a desk or table that isn't rock solid. Basically, it wiggles easily. It also includes built-in speakers, but they are very quiet even at full volume and have terrible sound quality. I wasn't planning on using the built-in sound anyway, so this doesn't really affect my opinion of it.

This monitor is a monster in terms of size. My older eyes greatly appreciate the 27" size and the finish of the monitor is brushed metal / aluminum just like my mac mini! I have another AOC monitor and it is fantastic, great color, good resolution, and great price point.

Yes way. I like to have current gear, but I am frugal (cheap). I saw this AOC ISP LED monitor on sale for $199. I did my research and decided this was a quality product despite the low price. Cnet says IPS screens have better viewing angles and color reproduction than other LED monitors. IPS stands for In Plane Switching. I have no idea how it works from a technical standpoint, but it sounds cool. The AOC monitor is quite handsome, exhibits quality construction, and produces a beautiful 1080P picture. It is thin and light, plus the stand is adjustable. Nothing negative to say about this product. And I got a best buy open box special for $166, This make buddha very happy.

I had a 22" dell IPS display previously, but wanted something larger. Most 27" IPS displays are significantly more expensive, although they do come with more features like ergonomic adjustments, a greater variety of inputs, and better speakers. That said, for ~$300, this monitor is an amazing value. It's a good looking 27" IPS display. The only issue I had when installing was that the picture was "shrunken" slightly and left about a 1" gap on all edges of the display. After adjusting my video card's "overscan" settings, the issue was solved. Just google "hdmi black border around screen" for instructions on how to fix that tissue. The speakers are truly awful, and the port selection is minimal, but I'd buy this monitor again in a second.

I read about this monitor on the engadget blog. It looked pretty attractive and the article pointed me to the $300 bestbuy-only deal. When I checked this site, I was able to snag it for $269! Looks like it's back up to 300 though :-( Anyway, some of the press releases say this monitor is "border-less". That is not true. The border is about a half an inch. It's relatively thin, but very much there. I must say this is a VERY attractive monitor and seems to be high quality in its construction. The LCD is clear and crisp with good colors and excellent viewing angles. With the 1920x1080 resolution spread across a massive 27 inches, the pixel density is not very high, and pixelation is noticeable up close. You can fit two large browser windows side-by-side comfortably, but for some people, 1080p may not offer the extra screen real estate you would hope for on a 27-inch display. It's worth pointing out that higher resolution 27-inchers (such as apple's thunderbolt display) are SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive (as in 800-1000 dollars). The monitor has integrated speakers. I plugged my audio cable into the monitor, took a listen, and vowed to never do that again. To be blunt they are atrocious and didn't even rival the built-in speakers in my macbook pro. Not a big deal to me, bit for those interested in using this monitor for sound output, it likely wont do. The touch sensitive buttons are fine. They are a little difficult to use but you wont need to use them much past the initial setup, and after that they are quite attractive and unobtrusive. In short I am thrilled with the value. There are nicer monitors to be had, but not near this price point. Buy one now!

Awesome monitors, got 2 side by side in my studio. They Work VERY well, no dead pixels, and the price is very right.

It looks good and comes with two HDMI inputs which is helpful. Nice sturdy base, easy to use on-screen menus, slim power supply.

Amazing picture with very thin case on top and sides almost unnoticeable with a very clean look and unobtrusive controls. The stand is heavy and sturdy keeping the monitor where you put it. The screen is non-reflective which is hard to find in most monitors, giving a far superior viewing experience in a wide verity of environmental conditions without distractions. The only bad parts about this monitor is the sound. If you use an HDMI video connection, the monitor does not allow anything other than HDMI sound as well. Additionally the speakers themselves are poor on this monitor, delivering far poorer sound quality than the built in speakers the monitor this one replaced provided. I would give 4.5/5 stars due to the high picture quality, losing .5 for the sound issues only due to the exceptional display on this monitor. A sound bar coupled with this offsets the sound quality issue and is recommended. Personally use Muses sound bar with blends in the the lower case and stand on this monitor to give the appearance of a complete unit.

I just got this Monitor, i will tell you guys it's really nice, i was looking to buy one for a long time, finally came across this monitor. Great quality and really good price. Using with Alienware X51.

I really love this monitor. It's picture quality is beautiful yes but for me it's all about gaming. I wanted to get a monitor that worked well with my Xbox one. Consoles only support 1080p. So I looked for a responsive monitor at 1080p that played shooters well. This is the one. It excels with response time. Get one! Oh and did I mention the picture quality is beautiful? One small mention that stand is not height adjustable.

I have had this monitor for a few days. i like the size and the clarity of the image, with no glare. I picked this model because of the size and because it can be tilted so I can adjust it. Installation was very easy and fast. Worked immediately. There are many settings that can be adjusted. The monitor comes with a CD with a manual and some programs to install, if needed. Good product.

This monitor is great size and a great value. It meets all the standards as listed and exceeds them in viewing. HD videos are awesome and the screen size makes them even more amazing. You should definitely buy this monitor and the lowest bargain price you can find. You will not be disappointed in your purchase.

This monitor has really good viewing angles. It supports hdmi and dvi/vga. Audio quality isnt the best from the internal speakers but they are serviceable. Overall I'm happy with the build quality and thin bezel. Extremely good value for the price.

I needed a large 27" monitor, but for the price of 23" one. Fortunately, there were Christmas sales and I was able to get large 27" AOC LED monitor for a great price. It was discounted for about 50% of original price, which was great. So, the monitor is great and I never regret my purchase. It has good color palette, has HD resolution (1920x1080), supports HDMI and VGA inputs and has a nice design. The monitor is not the latest design of course, it designed in 2012 and had a design award at that year. However, you cannot ask for more for this sale price. Cons: Some specifications claim that the screen has no wide borders. Unfortunately it is not true, it has quite wide borders, about half an inch size. As for me it is OK. Height cannot be adjusted. Overall, a very good monitor for the sale price!

This monitor looks great in my living room, very little plastic around the edges. The display is clear and sharp for every day use. If you currently have a 19" or 21" monitor, you will be happy that you went with 27". The speakers are below par, so if you are looking at this to be your only sound source, you may be a little disappointed. Would be 5 stars if the speakers were average Otherwise, i highly recommend this, it's a great value for a large monitor.

Great size, excellent price. Haven't found many flaws for a budget minded monitor. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a top of the line monitor but for 1080p it works great. Also works good with consoles!

I was looking to buy another all-in-one with a larger screen. I looked at the 27" but didn't want to spend a $1000 for it. So being that I use my laptop constantly I decided to look at monitors. I must say this is the best decision I made and saved hundreds of dollars. The picture quality is awesome!

Installation was easy, picture quality is superb, and the two HDMI inputs are incredibly helpful. While not a 4k, this monitor is excellent for gamers looking to upgrade on a budget. The IPS features are especially nice.

The screen was easy to install, brightness can be easily adjusted & it is large enough for old eyes! LOL! The controls were easy to use, once I figured out how to use them.

Is a 27 inch screen IPS so was leaning more towards photography work. Great reviews before I bought it. A little bit complicated to adjust the screen no English instructions thanks to you tube was able to get it to work the way I wanted. Hopefully will look for a 4K on Black Friday but for the price compare to others works great.
