This monitor is an excellent display, looks clean and stylish on my desk and an excellent value for the price. No complaints.

Good price, but text is hard to read

Using this as a 2nd monitor for a Win10 laptop. Text on laptop is perfectly crisp, but on this monitor it's blurry, as if the monitor is not really compatible with the graphics. Perhaps I could solve it by playing with settings, but don't know which to play with, and in any case it should "just work". So if you read text on your screen, skip this monitor. I guess there's a reason it was on sale :(

I was skeptical of this brand but it was on sale and I took a chance. It is used in a work environment and it seems fine!

Crisp screen as the monitor is frameless. Perfect graphics! Love all the display ports.

Not as sexy as some of the name brands but I bought this on sale and have no regrets about it.

Won't work with my Mac Tower

Well, I was on the hunt for a thin 27" IPS, and thought I had found it. Just bought it today and have been trying to set it up. I have a Mac Pro Intel based Tower from 2009. Problem is, although the monitor says is is 1920x1080 rez, when I set the display to that resolution, it freaks out. Blinks on and off repeatedly, until I switch it to a lower rez. I tried using two different brands of Mini Display to HDMI adapter, and tried a DVI to HDMI adapter, no luck with any of them. Very frustrating, as I really wanted to like this one. It's very good looking and the price is fantastic, but no sense buying a hi rez monitor and running it lo rez or on VGA.

Thick Edges were misleading

I bought this display for its screen quality and its thin edges. The thin edges is a bit misleading because the plastic is thin, however there is a 0.5 inch part of the "screen" all the way around that is black. Looks nice when the screen is off.

Flawed from the start.

It had issues right out of the box with the headphone connection producing poor quality or static. I dealt with the issue by connecting external speakers to my laptop.
Then after 4 months, the screen began to black out for a few seconds and reset itself. It was definitely an issue with the monitor as the rest of the system was checked with another monitor.
Now the screen image has become unstable.
Since it is out of the short 90 day warranty, the only option is to ship it to their far off service center which means I still have to buy a replacement monitor.

Artifacts from day one.

I have had artifacts on the screen since the day I purchased it from best buy. Being the idiot I am, I didn't bother to return it to best buy and have it replaced. Six months later the screen is still doing it, and AOC support is near useless. Their turn around for monitor "repair" is two weeks. It's a well designed screen but it looks like I got a dud unit. Also annoying that it didn't come with a DVI connection, but I knew that when I bought it.
Overall, you get what you pay for I guess.

Junk Out of the Box

Set it up as a second display and was not impressed with the color. So i spent a little bit of time changing the settings to correct the color issues. Then after about an hour of use the panel kicked the bucket. I returned it the next day.
