For the purpose I bought this, I'm thrilled. I wanted a second monitor to use at home with my laptop for productivity. My original plan was to get a 29-34 inch ultrawide (I do have discrete graphics in my laptop to power it) but the price of this panel and it's size caught my eye. Honestly for coding I really appreciate the extra height and it is plenty wide for tiling windows side by side. So for productivity this monitor is great. Something else I really liked was that it has vga input in addition to HDMI and display port which saved me having to buy another display port cable since I have enough old vga cables laying around and my laptop only has mini display port and vga out. Another plus is that the length of the power cable is generous (probably about 5-6+ ft) so it can reach if you need it too. It also has a reasonably small bezel (still far from bezel-less) which is great for minimizing the distance between it and my laptop monitor which makes for a more seamless experience. The cons, none of which are deal breakers for me and my use case, are the stand was somewhat difficult to attach a task made much easier with 2 people. Most of the plastic housing is glossy black, not matte. The support post that holds the monitor on the stand is not very rigid so if you bump your desk the monitor will shake for a little while (a matter of 2-3 seconds). It is only 1080p. The footprint of the stand is relatively large, but it is thin and flat so you can still use the space it takes up to hold smaller stuff. There is no up or down sliding adjustment, only tilt and no left right swivel. I haven't used it for gaming at all so I can't comment on that aspect (I'd expect it might be somewhat subpar for that use case, though it does claim decently low latency). For the price I paid I'm very happy with this monitor and if you are just looking to have some more low-cost screen real estate for productivity I would highly recommend this monitor.

I already had one of these monitors for my office. Bought a second for a co worker. Love the ips it does not strain your eyes and allows you to use it all day with no glare. It is the perfect size for my needs and I am on a computer all day long. Very nice design easy to set up and use. The only negative are the speakers are on the back of the monitor and tend to distract my co workers. When you plug in an HDMI cable you CANNOT use other speakers.

I was looking for replacements for two older, mismatched monitors for my Mac Pro. I was a bit reluctant to buy this one at first. I thought AOC was some sort of generic or off-brand company. After talking to the clerk, she told me that is a very good brand and not many people know about it. In the store the sample images they had onscreen looked really nice and it was on a deep sale price. Bought two. They have a lot of image settings where you can adjust as you need. They even have a "break reminder" that displays a pop up message on screen to take a break! Was cute for the first few times but I quickly turned that off. Still may be good for some people. I did notice after a few days (may have been there since the beginning) that one pixel was out on one monitor. Not anything for me to return and mostly not noticeable. Other monitor is perfect. So far no other dead pixels. The design is nice and modern, however I would have liked a black base instead of the silver. But it's growing on me. The one thing I wish it had was a height adjustment. For me, I sit high in a chair so I had to build some platforms for them to raise up to a better eye level. Also, one of the monitors was a real bear in the way you connect the base to the monitor arm. Just be careful that you don't scratch the front when trying to get the base on. The other one fit nicer. However, both did exhibit a bit of skew in that they are not level. I think it is in the design or construction for the arm and base connection. I had to put some small shims under to make them level as I am finicky about things like that! Overall, nothing that is drastically bad and the pros outweigh the cons.

I wanted a iMac but wasn't ready to pay the iMac price O_o, so instead I decided to be creative and create my own iMac experience. I purchased the AOC - i2779vh 27" IPS LED FHD Monitor - Black/silver. Overall its a great purchase, but if I had just a little bit more money I would have opted to increase the resolution to get as close to the iMac resolution as possible (but then I probably would have been better off getting an iMac)! It's a compromise with the AOC monitor, but a good one. Perhaps when Apple gets more innovative and have more competitive prices, I'll switch out my iMac set up with MacBook Pro for an actual iMac :) FYI I have a Macbook Pro and also purchased the following items for my iMac set up (which also allows for dual monitors): Apple - Magic Keyboard - Silver Apple - Magic Mouse 2 - Silver Insignia™ - 6' HDDB15 Male-to-Male PC Monitor Cable - Black j5create - SuperSpeed USB 3.0 to VGA External Video Adapter - White AOC - i2779vh 27" IPS LED FHD Monitor - Black/silver

I purchased the AOC - I2779 27" Monitor for the wide view because I need two documents side by side while creating estimates, doing material or paint take offs from drawings doing counts while filling out a spreadsheet. The clarity of this monitor and the wide view is better than having two monitors. I couldn't be more pleased!

AOC monitor has the WORST quality. The screen is blur now, less than 2 years. Terrible customer service, asks me to ship it toOneness eServices LLC, which has very bad reputation online, accuse like "may" out of warranty, packaging not adequate The warranty is meaningless, buy at your own risk. The consequence for AOC is I will never buy one of your products again.

Dead pixel right out of the box , i will be exchanging it for another and ill give it 1 last fair shot .

Very large and clear screen. Easy to set up. Takes up less space than having two monitors. Good price under $200 on sale

I picked up this budget Korean IPS screen as a stepping stone, but have been overall happy with it. In the future I intend to buy a larger screen with at least 1440p resolution for photo editing, but in the meantime this AOC meets my needs and is certainly a step up from my previous display. Connectivity lacks DisplayPort inputs, but I'm able to get by with HDMI, however this would restrict me from running two side-by-side from my Mac Mini. A decent budget pick up, and when I eventually upgrade I'm sure I'll find a new use for this screen.

This is a great monitor the size an picture is great the only thing is that doesn’t have to many outputs and no speakers

Ease of use when connected to Apple iPad, iPhone, MacBook Air, and a PC laptop. All you need are the correct cables and it's plug and play out of the box. Very good picture for both movies and spreadsheets. Happy with this Best Buy Associate recommended product!

The set up was easy. The picture quality is excellent. Price for value is very good.

These AOC computer monitors I purchased for work are great. They are large, great picture. I purchased 1 and then went back within a week to purchase another. Running two screens and it has been fantastic. Perfect for business working. The price vs. quality is great.

After a great talk with one of the many outstanding Best Buy associates, I chose a large monitor and it makes a big difference. Working at my desk all day and having a large monitor is so much easier on the eyes. Should have done this years ago.

I have been searching for a larger monitor for some time. When I walked by Best Buy and saw this monitor on sale, I jumped on it, The color is great, the ease of set up is a blessing, I can actually see what I am looking at now, Love this.

I purchased three of these for business use in our accounting department. When compared to a Dell monitor (at double the price) you really couldn't tell that much of a difference. This is just a great monitor at a fantastic price!

I bought this because i needed extra real estate for my recording software and scripts. Its size is big yet compact for desks. I'd recommend this. I also got a great price during black friday sales. Clarity is great!

Read the Reviews for all 27" monitors prior to purchase. AOC monitors all had great reviews. Went into Best Buy to view them in person and it was as nice as more expensive monitors. Have it hooked up to my Mac Book Pro 15" laptop in the office. Been using it for a couple of weeks, and it has been a pleasurable experience. If you can get it when it is on sale, you can't go wrong.

Wanted a monitor to game with on the XB1 and PS4 and this does the job. Nice colors and little input lag. There’s better monitors out there, but for the price I’m not complaining. Don’t think there’s speakers, which is the only knock I have, so make sure you have a headset.

I’m loving my monitor! Images are very crisp, easy to install and nicely looking either in a small or large desk. My macbook pro recognized it really fast. I would recommend it.
