It's a great buy for the price. I will recomend not just because of the power protection, but the back up is helpfull. Right after the purchased, we had a black out and it worked just fine.

I have been using APC Battery Back-Up units for years. They have Always worked, and never let me don. I have several PCs on them and live in a Rural are with pretty many "Brown outs" and outages. I have yet to have a Computer failure. Thse units aslo protect your internet connection, whether it be dial up or Broadband. Get You One! It's The Best Protection for your Computer that money can buy!

This is my third apc battery backup that I've bought over the years and they all worked as expected, which is great because during the summer storms in Florida we have lots of brown outs and lightening strikes in the area.

I got this as protection for my newly built pc. Opened the box and everything was neatly packed and had no fuss setting it up. Worked out of the box and performs its simple job very well. If you want to monitor stats and administer the product, it comes with a software you can install.

My first APC UPC lasted 7 or 8 years? So based on past experience, getting another APC was a no-brainer...especially after checking out other UPC's and their reviews online. You may pay $10 or $15 more for this APC unit over a cheaper model, but I believe you'll be sacrificing peace of mind and propection on your equipment.

I got this hooked up for my desktop and monitor on a power saving mode and the other day when the power went out for a couple of minutes it gave me an extra 15 minutes to shut all my stuff down. I would not recomend to use for full time back up but it works good for giving you enough time to shut everything down safely.

I bought this as a replacement for another of the same model that was roughly 5 years old, they last about 5 years and have no problems, but then the battery starts to go. I've also tried some of the off brands like cyber power and they last no where near as long as the APC ones.

I brought 2 of these units to back up my cordless telephone & my internet modem they are working great and set up was very simple can't beat this product

This the third APC unit I have purchased. Could have replaced battery but chose to upgrade and get more battery backup plugs. All my units have performed well and pick up immediately with any power interruption. Live in country so this equipment is indispensable.

I do not use any sophisticated software etc I just want to have battery power on my cable modem when the power fails. I am also using it as a surge protector Works as advertised What can be said?

The salesman should have known that we had a newer imac and the usb cable was not going to work with our computer It is such a big problem to return an item to Best Buy we decided to keep it. We will not be buying from Best Buy again. The salesman are not informed enough. We will go to Staples from now on.

So far, I love it. Have had it for a year and it works great. Efficiently shuts down my computer when the electricity goes off and recharges itself. I never worry about my computer anymore. I would definitely recommend it!

This was probably the best investment I have done for my electronics! With everything running, that's my laptop, small fan, Bose, 1TB drive. I get around 25minutes, and if I turn some things off, it goes to around 30-35minutes! This thing is amazing, I recommend anyone needing a backup power system, this would be it! It's very cheap, and a very good buy. No cons, it's just perfect, lets hope APC can keep their reputation up!

I've been using this same product for years in multiple locations. I've never been let down through power surges or outages. It's the best battery backup for the right price.

I won't buy anything but an ACP surge product. About 18 months ago had a lightning strike take out our power supply, satellite receiver and new HD TV set. Took about 3 months to get the check, but no questions asked, the power supply was replaced almost immediately and sent a check for the TV. Would have paid for the receiver also, but it was under warranty. Even with a direct lightning strike (about 3' from the satellite dish that travelled thru the cable to the power supply and TV), no questions asked, just a bit of paperwork.

When we have brief power outages it protects my computer and its accessories and allows me to continue my work.

Plenty of power for a single PC system to run on battery for 20-30 minutes.

I used an APC product in the past and I had to replace the previous one because of water getting into the basement. APC products has been very dependable and easy to use for any application. I am looking at using this also for my Home Theater equipment.

One of my older UPS devices finally gave out, so I purchased this unit to replace it. As expected, it has performed as intended. Setup was minor (connecting the internal battery to the lead). After that, plug the unit into the wall socket and away you go. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a home UPS unit.

I have three of this brand, one is 6 years old and still working very well. I am sold on this battery back up and would highly recommend it to my friends.
