I needed an entry-level UPS for my cable modem and found one the APC UPS that was economical and reliable. It was an amazing buy for the price and highly recommended.

I've used this unit for a short time but have tested it several times. The smaller capacity means it can only support a few devices, but I have a single PC and monitor plugged in and I'm getting over 15 min of backup.

Simple to setup and works as intended. I'm using this on my entrainment components (not the tv but cable, modem, etc). Keeps the power constant and avoids electrical damages to my entertainment system components

We have a lot of lightning in central Florida and lots of very short power outages. This is our 3rd APC back up battery. They really do work well and instantly kick on when the power goes out for a few seconds.

I bought this to provide battery backup to a router and some hubs (Hue, SmartThings). It’s compact and has room for a couple of larger power bricks.

My computer, router, cable modem, DVR and TV stay on when the power goes out - not forever, of course, but enough that I don't have to deal with reboot/resets for every blink or glitch during storms.

This is the 2nd APC battery backup I purchased - first worked so well for computer/monitor that I bought one for U-Verse gateway and phone. Just great - power outage or surges don't knock me offline

Like most APC products this UPS works great. I have one setup to my CPAP machine and we have a frequent power issues in my area. This doesn't make any alarms to disturb my sleep during an outage.

I bought this unit to backup my fios box during power outages and surge protection. It should keep the internet and tv signal going for about roughly 5 hours or so . Only tested for a few minutes but worked fine with no interruptions.

Since my Dell AIO PC has no built-in battery backup, this APC power backup does the job. Since installation, I had 2 short power disruptions and the PC worked through both of them without disruption and allowed me to shut down normally. This APC model is simple with 5 backup outlets and 2 surge protected outlets. Set up is easy. I just charged the battery and plugged my equipment in.

This item has repeatedly provided power back up when a consistent electrical current was not available. It provides longer periods of interim time than it's competitors at a comparable price.

I really needed a battery backup for my computer system, as well as a serge protector. I think this will do what I want. Plus, something for emergency to charge up my tablet and cell phones.

The design of these smaller APC Battery backups is the key attraction for me. They fit nicely under an end table or behind and piece of furniture, so you don't even notice they are there. They upward facing plugs make for easy access when plugging things in as well. I did have one of the 420VA models go bad on my (this was the replacement for that unit), but otherwise, I have been satisfied with the slim APC battery backups. Another thing that is key is the ability to silence the alarm without having to hook them up to a PC - something some of the smaller and/or old units did not have.

Got this fir power outage but really like the usb for my phone charging. Recommend for an emergency long term power outage. Be safe.

Purchased 3 of these and so far I haven’t needed them. Or if I have I have not noticed. And that’s really the point of having them. Software can actually get in the way so that’s really the only reason for 4 stars.

Easy to connect; lots of plugs; and is very compact so it fits nicely in a small space

Small, light weight, and updated version of the old UPS systems. Easy to setup and use.

I have two computers with a lot of hard drives running on this and it handles them being on when the power is out just fine.

Tired of coming home to find out that your computer is in some weird freeze mode due to an electrical surge while away? This was my problem. Ordered it online, removed it from the box. Read the directions! Removed the battery from the back and hooked it up, replaced cover, plugged it into my wall and plugged in my desktop, monitor, printer and modem. Going to purchase a second to backup the DVR next. Love it.

We've used the model just above this for 7 years without fail and it was recommended by our IT company. So when Hurricane Harvey was en route I thought I'd buy this as a safeguard for home. It was easy to set up and a source of relief when the electricity flickered. I knew that my internet router would stay on for 6-7 hours if needed. Fortunately I haven't needed it but it's definitely worth the investment.
