I used this UPS to replace the one I had (the battery died and there were no replacements). It was so easy to install, I basically just pulled plugs from the old and plugged into the new. A few software items to complete and it was up and running.

Never have had an issue with APC UPS will recommend to anyone, from novice to expert user. We had a fire a few years ago due to buying an off brand product that unexpectedly caught on fire and put us out of normal operations for over 8 weeks.

Needed several of these to protect some network switches out on the production floor. Just needed them to run long enough to come through short power interruptions. They have been working well for this purpose. Would definitely get again.

I purchased this because we've had some electrical storms each year and each time I was having to buy a new wireless router because the other one got fried. So I learned my lesson and bought 2 of these for our business. 1 goes to our main computer and the other goes to the electrical/network equipment. In the event of a storm I know I'm good because not only will this provide enough time to shut the computer down properly but it will also provide surge protection to those items set on the APC UPS. Great item.

Had the chance to see item in action, after light went off, had enough time to finish and save my work, turning the computer off properly. I am glad I purchase this device.

In my home office I have two of these APC BN700MC units as well as one of the larger APC battery backup units. They have all been pretty reliable and have proven themselves over time. They are well worth the investment.

this is third time shopping for APC Back ups after 350 and 550 series - right now I step to 700 VA who can hold more minutes . Right now they working great in every room with computers, audio/video equipments

Work great so far. I have two of them, one for the home theater and the other for computer. Considering the size of the unit, the outlets need to be farther apart. In my opinion, the green option would bemore effective if there were 3 or 4 power saving outlets.

Very good and capable UPS for a desktop. Easy to install, enough protected plugs and more for just surge protection. Good spacing between plugs also. Very good price when bought on the daily sale price.

This is the 2nd APC Back-Up I've owned. We've experienced several power outages over the past few years and the APC kept our computer running allowing us to safely save our work and shut the computer down.

It does what it says it will do. APC will generally give you 3 years of life on one of these. Bit pricey, but it is what it is. Don;t run three heavy printers on it though... It will squeal like a pig with warning beeps. If you goign to put any real load on it go with the $200+ model

Easy half hour or better during storm outages. Watch intermittently for weather/storm updates.

This unit is powering my cable box/DVR and a small PC hooked up to my TV. It has kept things running through a brief power flicker that shut off my other unprotected computer; and also kept my cable box from resetting during a longer outage (10-15 minutes, based on the oven clock displacement; I wasn't there at the time, but everything else was reset when I came back except for the cable box/DVR).

My previous APC battery UPS died after 15 years of use. No question, I would go with another APC battery UPS. Good price, excellent reliability, and works as expected.

Needed to replace the one I had, it died after many years of use. This was the equivalent and the price was good. I am expecting just as many years out of this one.

Bought this unit to replace an apc 250 that I've had for 20 years. It seams to be just as good as the older one. I gues time will tell, hopefully another 20 years.

Very convient and easy to use. A must have for any house electronics. I use it in my hometheater room for bavk up

I bought this unit to replace a 15-year old BACK-UPS 650 (while I waited for a replacement battery on that one). I've always had very good performance from APC units, and this is my third-- all are still running. I like this form factor better (lay down, with plugs on top) than the old rear-plug style unit, and there's more room between outlets. Battery replacement also looks very easy on this unit. But Mac users should note that none of the PowerChute software features are available for Macintosh. That's never bothered me, but they really should make that point on the packaging.

I purchased this UPS to connect my gaming PC and network printer. The unit has performed flawlessly during several commercial power drops and strains. The internal battery keeps it charge and the downloadable software help monitor your electricity usage and power events. This is a definite for any type of gaming PC rig.

I needed a cheap but effective UPS to maintain my NAS. This UPS connects to the NAS through a USB cable. If the power goes out, the UPS will notify the NAS and the NAS will do a automatic shutdown after 10 minutes. The time can be set by the user. Note that this UPS is too small to maintain power to a PC. The NAS only draws 10-100 watts depending on its state. The UPS has way more power than needed for this. The only thing is that I wish the UPS supported pure sine wave power but won't find it for this price...
