My existing UPS unexpectedly died & a quick check of my local Best Buy using the handy app showed a number of choices. This UPS is both modern & surprisingly light weight, too. Setup was fast, too. I would buy more without reservation as needed. Love the easy plugin location on top! Brilliant!

I've used APC back-up systems for two decades and keep coming back to them because I have never had any problems with them. This is the sixth unit I have purchased and four of those six are still in service. They are reliable, do what they claim and mainly sit there quietly protecting sensitive electronic equipment. Besides having three computers and monitors attached to these units, I have separate units for my phones, modems, external hard drives and other equipment that could be harmed by a surge and that I might be using during a power outage. By buying oversized units, I can run the equipment longer before having to power down.

our other one fried and this one is quote a bit larger and heavier but it works great. I'm sure this one is going to last for a long time.

Hooked it up to my Windows Server 2012R2 server. It is not designed for Servers but deskside systems. I downloaded the Windows 8.1 power monitoring program and it works. Got away with one... If it did not work the UPS for Windows servers is much more expensive!!

This is our 2nd battery back up from APC. We have experienced power failures and the back up works instantly. We have a Generator that comes on when power is lost but takes a few minutes so this is to prevent the loss of data and work. It is great.

The spacing on the outlets for this UPS is very good. I really like the design. The software to control and monitor it is also very good. A good value for the price.

Easy setup, compact, sufficient outlets compared to my prior model. Space saving was a plus for me. Duration of backup power also improved.

This UPS replaced a 3 year old smaller unit powering a point of sale PC. Unit is compact and doesn't take up too much space. Run time is long enough to shut down the system if extended power outage.

Just had my first power outage since buying and putting this in place. It worked just fine for the 30 seconds or so I needed before my generator kicked in. The other I bought to support a home link system, from CyberPower, didn't work at all other than to set off a shrill alarm to let me know my power had gone off (gee, thanks). Definitely consider this one, from APC, if you're in need.

Very reliable and price is good. Easy to install. I have not had any problems and have installed many of these.

UPS needed for computers and modem. 20 minutes to unpack, review directions and connect computers and modem. Instant backup power. I have tested it twice without AC. Once for 1 hour. Again overnight. Nothing turned off. I used my laptops for 1 hour each during second test. Everything still running in the morning. Unit is small and sits on a shelf under my desk. Will get another one or two to use with security cameras.

This was a nice add to my office. It packs a punch for such a small package. I have a lot of hardware in my sytstem. 10 HDDS, and several PCI cards. So it draws a bit of power. I was having problems with my 500VA ups and found a great little deal on this 900VA. Problem solved. I waited to review this. No problems with it at all!

I have several of these units protecting my home networking and computer devices and have been using this model for the last several years. I highly recommend this device because of balance of surge protection and battery power backup outlets allows me enough time to gracefully shutdown devices or provide enough battery power to remain up during short duration power outages.

The APC Battery Back-Up operates as a surge protector and keeps electronic items running when our power went out. We have experienced a couple of outages since we purchased this item. There was not interuption in service when the power failed. This is important for the maintenance of our house phone, so we can call for service. This is one of the best purchases we have made.

After losing power due to a 2 day storm, with trees knocking down power lines, a friend suggested this unit. It was in stock, and easily installed. The price was right.

Cannot tell you how many times an APC Backup saved my equipment. These are the best devices to use, especially if you experience power surges on a daily basis.

There are 6 outlets for battery back-up with surge protection and 3 outlets with surge protection only. This is very good. The unit is easy to handle and has a nice form factor. There is a port for connection to your PC so that you can use the APC PowerChute Personal app for diagnostics. The app is very useful and well designed. The only reason it does not get a 5-star rating is because there are no USB ports.
