A great UPS with ability to give you enough time to save any work you do. Also a great protection from voltage fluctuations during the wonder storm.
I’m suggesting to have something like this for every expenses device you have.

This is my first UPS and I've only had it for a month, but it seems to be working fine. I have my modem and wireless router connected to keep my security system (via VoIP) running during an outage. I did have a short outage already and the modem and router kept running.

I needed to replace the older UPS I had with one that was a bit better. This filled the bill with more battery capacity to spare. More outlets & just a bit larger in size. Still fit where I needed it.

This is an excellent product and is quite compact. I use this for gadgets in my living room such as Wi-fi router, xbox, TV etc. The charge lasts very well and is good enough for me whenever there is a power outage.

Easy installation and setup. I have my Xfinity Gateway and my home automation hubs backed up in case of power failure.
Footprint is very doable on a desktop and the wider outlets allow for the usual wall warts that come with so many of today's devices!

essential power protection, often overlooked

Consulted recently for a small office where the internet connection would sometimes drop and the PBX (phone) system would periodically crash. It turned out that the electrical system in the old building had its shares of brown-outs and spikes when a copier, microwave oven, vacuum cleaner or refrigerator would turn on or off. After connecting the cable modem for internet access, the router, and PBX to this APC Back-UPS these interruptions no longer happened. In addition, I connected the UPS to a computer running (free from APC) monitoring software with the supplied USB cable so the UPS could be monitored. In smaller offices in older buildings, power quality issues are often overlooked even though they negatively impact office work. Installing this Back-UPS is a relatively low-cost method to keep communications running reliably.

Perfect battery back up for smart home camera hubs

I purchased this battery back up hoping it would work for my smart device hubs and router. I have lost power a few times in the little over a year since purchase, and my Arlo camera set and router never lost power. The longest streak without power was around 3 hours. and my camera base kept storing video the whole time.
Also due to my cable still working, my contact sensors and motion sensors kept working through my smart hub, and kept me informed of events around my house.

Very Good for PS4 in Rest or Play Modes

Due to numerous power blips (i.e. losses of AC power for one second or less) which occur frequently in my area, I lost a the 2TB SSHD in my PS4. This required a new drive as well aa reloading all the games, restoring what saved data I could from the cloud, restoring all my PS4 settings, and so on. This was a lot of trouble and time that I didn't want to repeat. So, I thought that I better get a UPS for the PS4 so that I could continue to use Rest Mode (which is required for automatically uploading of the saved data to the web because I have never been able to do that manually for reasons that I don't yet understand). This unit has enough capacity to sustain the PS4 and other devices during the power blips even when actively playing as well as when in Rest Mode. I no longer worry about this and have had no problems since. As is typical, this unit has some of its outlets spaced for accommodating the wall warts used by many devices. The price, performance, and reputation together resulted in my decision to go with this unit. Using it as I am is very simple and intuitive, and it appears to be well made..

Simple & Elegant AV cart solution

Form & function of this new design worked seemlessly for my application of equipping an Av cart for my sons new TV and game system. New top plug location and full horizontal layput fit a traditional powerstrip layout and make connection easier, The battery in the bottom keeps the orienation solid on the cart. APC seems to be updating their line to meet these new home use cases previously only found in business applications. It will be interesting to see if the durability is still there or if it is designed to fail after a few years. Ut woukd have been nice to have more secure points built in as part if the design. I had to zip tie around the unit, but the was plug soacing midway that allowed for this without covering outlets.

Used for the price of new?

I drove about 2 hours one way to buy 2 APC - Back-UPS's, the 900VA and a smaller version. When I got home, 4 hours later, I noticed that the 900VA had very carefully been resealed. I thought perhaps it had simply been retaped shut as a precaution, and maybe it was; however, when I followed the instructions to connect the battery I noticed that the battery appeared to oddly scrubbed on several sides. It appeared as if there may have been previous writings on the battery, which were scrubbed off. Also the APC certification or branding sticker was haphazardly placed and bubbled all over. (Other stickers on the case were also oddly placed.) There was one remaining printed item on the battery, which happened to be a QR code. A quick scan of that showed the battery came from Vietnam and was readily available from retailers for $19. APC lists replacement batteries' for $44. Anyhow, I've only had the thing in use for about an hour and it seems ok. Maybe it will be great, but because of the suspicious, careless packaging (or repackaging) and battery itself I'm unsure if this UPS is even new.
