due to electric storms - and sometime hurricanes -, in Florida, we lose power quite often. This little thing allows the cable box and TV to keep working without breaks, which many times would mean a complete reboot of the cable box. Enough juice to go through a few minutes without electricity.

Second one of these. I like the ability to have unit properly shut down computer when power goes off. Unit also monitors power fluctuation from expected voltage. Paperwork shows pre sale testing for quality control. Not sure APC even has any competition. I think on my last one battery lasted over 5 years.

Anyone who owns a computer or electronic equipment that needs to stay working in the event of a power failure. Cheap insurance.

Purchased APC Back-Up, Plugged into living room computer, lamps, cell phone charger and VIZIO TV. Almost every time it rains I lose my power for about 2 seconds. I needed something that could handle my 65 inch OLED TV and the rest of my entertainment electronics. When the power goes out my electronics don't turn off now. I'm a happy camper! No cons so far.

This replace a 1500 that I gave to my wife when I upgraded my battery. This more than suits her needs as she doesn’t need the ups to last as long as I do because of the work I do. This is as reliable as the powerhouses I have used for nearly 2 decades.

When ordering this, I didn't know how it would perform compared to the APC Pro Backup Supplies that our office normally uses. This works great as I mounted it to the wall where I have internet modem, router, phone modem, and amplified cable splitter plugged in to backup power plugs.

Bought this as a battery back up my security camera system, router and a few other things. It works great. Not using any of the auto shut down so i can't comment how it works. Had one power blip since installing and everything stayed on.

Use this for our Cable Modem, DVR, TV, Playstation, and AppleTV units. Keeps everything on battery back up and protects the items from surge. We live in a beach area that has a lot of brown-outs, and this device has kept our electronics safe.

When the laser printer started it drew too much power and shut down my monitors. This UPS solves that problem without an annoying alarm. It also keeps my switch running. Very happy with it and a good price. Receptacles have enough space in between.
