Regular strip surge protector works well. The additional square protector with USB ports is a great idea but lacks a major feature - the ability to switch on and off - makes the product less usable since it's always plugged in and using electricity whether it's being used or not. Would be perfect with a switch.

with this outlets I have less worries for the safety of my devices during the storms. Their sensitivity to spike in voltage make them vulnerable during storms, so the surge protection these outlets provide is very valuable.

I got these two surge protectors on a 4hr deal and I love them. They work well charging iPhones and iPads throughout the house. Definitely worth the money and hey, they are APC. Cant go wrong with them!

A good bundle that's priced quite well. The power strips are pretty basic and do the job. The USB power strip is a bit on the bulky side, probably because it's made to double as a tablet holder, but it also gets the job done.

Using the 3 way next to bed to charge phone/tablet over night. the 6 port is just your regular outlet extender. Both fulfill their need.
