Loved this movie growing up. Bought the regular blu years ago and wasn't thinking about upgrading but due to the awesome deal Best Buy had, I thought I should get it. Oh boy, the 4K transfer is really amazing. You can now enjoy the movie in HDR awesomeness. Definitely recommended!

HDR really adds a lot to these older movies. Apollo 13 is such a good movie that getting a 4k copy at the price was well worth it.

Excellent transfer with special features ported from previous Blu-Ray release. Looks and sounds better on the Blu-ray with no artificial edge enhancement and no halo artifacts. I have not viewed the 4K disk as I’m not equipped yet but it is from the same 4K source as the Blu-ray transfer.

Depending on your system. This is a great 4k addition. The picture and sound at lift off is like being there in person.

It's rare that a film can be viewed multiple times and it still gives you the same thrill and yet every time I view this film I still am thrilled every single time. The acting, production, and script are top-notch, and if you haven't seen this film pick it up.

The sound and especially the picture are excellent. Bonus that you get a 4K digital copy.
