Appetite is one of my all time favorite albums so this was a no brainer to me. Got this more expensive version because I also wanted the video disc. Was also excited to get the live knockin on heaven's door track but was then disappointed in the version included. There's a version played on the radio once in a while where Axel gets the croud involved and I figured that would be the one but it's not.

I guess this is the new thing... re-release these albums/CDs on some random anniversary. But not just any old re-release... 4 or 5 re-releases (each one just slightly different... to where you need a checklist to figure out if you got all of the content or not). I bit, and bought this "super duper double secret limited deluxe" version (LOL! There's actually a $1000 version out there... so I guess I got a deal for $150). Nothing special here... I've had MOST of this stuff (in 1 form or another) for close to 25 years. Oh well... I'll throw it in a pile somewhere, come across it in a year or so, and throw it on eBay (and MAYBE make my money back). I'll give credit where credit is due... when you play the Blu-Ray of the album (which doesn't sound ANY different), there are cool animations/graphics that go along with each song. Anyway... just another way for the greedy record companies to squeeze money out of the fans of these bands. I fell for it.

So happy they remastered Appetite, had been waiting for that since the original had some weak audio. Love the extras and wish they had just released it with the original album art!

This is an awesome box set with all kinds of rare GnR songs along with a remastered copy of one of the greatest debut albums of all time. Love the extra goodies as well.

This is the debut album from my all time favorite band, finally remastered!! My only complaint is that I wish I could’ve gotten the Locked N’ Loaded set instead LOL.

So I've been waiting for a remaster for AFD forever! Finally it comes & comes with some killer extras!

Yeah, tons of demos I haven't heard plus the BluRay audio is the REAL gem here!!
