My daughter has been using it for 3years already and it's still good no problem at all. A big help in her school.

I’m a guitar teacher so I use it for my business. It’s very light has a ton of storage and is ver fast for all my music and apps. Perfect for me. In the past I over a grand for similar iPads. This being a little over 700.00 is awesome.

    Ipad Air vs. Ipad Pro

Got the Ipad Air as opposed to the Pro model, as it has plenty of capacity and speed for my usage (am not a Gamer for eg.). Works fine, but I wish it would allow me to change the Wallpaper from my Amazon Photos to allow a bigger customized selection. Also, got the Cellular model only because it had 256GB. vs. only 64GB with the one without Cellular; and was $100 off. I do not expect to use the Cellular much if at all, as mostly use the Ipad on wifi. And do not want to sign up for any cellular plan, as not worth it. Apple should have a 128GB option without Cellular as the Pro Model does.

    Improved iPad Air

Many of the improvements of this iPad Air over previous versions are somewhat subtle. However, after working with two previous versions of the hardware, the screen response to tactile interaction (touching it) is improved and more accurate. The full frontal screen adds additional viewing area. The touch button is integrated into theon/off button and does a better job of detecting fingerprints than even the previous version with the facial home button. Overall well worth the improvements. The speed of the processor takes full advantage of the newest processor. Overall, well worth the added cost!

Love the iPad, actually have several iPads and found the lightness of this one great, and the price point while on sale was agreeable. However, I ended up selling it since it felt like it wasn't quite right. So I'd say check it out in person, feel it with, play with it, and if you like the form factor and the weight, you won't be disappointed!

I had to replace my old iPad, this one has a screen that is a little bit larger, it is faster than my old and can hold a charge. I am very happy with this purchase!

Excellent iPad since the introduction of the original iPad Air. It’s thin, light, bright and very fast, much faster than my original Air but a little larger screen with 10.5 comparing to a 9.7 inch. Thickness is about the same looking with the naked eyes. Two big differences are screen size and screen clarity. Buttons and charging port are practically the same. Another plus is that you can still use your old charging cable to charge this iPad.

This iPad Air 3rd gen is my 3rd iPad, and the best yet. Light, thin, larger display than my iPad Air 2, faster. It is a great tablet, and, if money is not too big an issue, I recommend it highly; I've used Kindle and other Android-based tablets. I really like how it integrates with my other Apple devices.

My first time purchasing this iPad with cellular option. My sister loved it and she have a spare card that would work with this iPad. It’s super fast and very easy to use on the go.

This isn’t a great at apple product. We are an apple family and probably always will be. Apple makes great products and we have never regretted our purchases. Whenever we have had issues apple has stood behind their products.

I did purchase this item w/keyboard at Bestbuy only to return it and purchase directly from Apple. This is why. This was my birthday gift and I wanted the Tablet in rose-white color w/rose white keyboard and the otter cover. When I order at Bestbuy some of the items weren't compatible. Apple store had the items. I'm still enjoying my purchase. I can use as a tablet only or mini laptop. Make sure you buy a good protective case or your table will brake if you drop it. I've dropped it several times and the Otter case has saved it not one crack. The battery life is excellent. I stream movies, watch TV and play games. I have watched 4 movies and the battery is still over half full. Better life than my Ipod.

The Air is definitely the sweet spot in the apple lineup. If you need a tablet device, you can’t go wrong with one of these. Super fast, with the latest generation processor (at the time), rivaling the much more expensive Pro line in many ways for features while being only somewhat more expensive than the lower end iPad line. I highly recommend one of these if you can’t spend quite as much as is asked for the pro iPads but need a bit more than is offered in the lower line. The cellular feature is less useful; most always we are on WiFi, so we have yet to actually enroll and pay for cell service for this device.

It's not the button-less iPad 11, but it also costs hundreds less. This one has cellular because the person getting it needed to have internet anywhere and not via tethering. Great iPad.

I researched this device quite a bit. The IPad Pro was the clear winner in terms of computing power but its price was prohibitive. The IPad Air is the right balance for a casual user. I did consider the base IPad but elected to go with the better display and faster chip of the IPad Air. For the modest bump in price over the base unit you get so much more. The IPad Air also has plenty of storage. If cost is not a driver, go with the 256gb version. Love the machine!
