Great device, but my needs changed after owning
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At the time of buying the iPad Air, there was not enough of a difference for me to justify buying the iPad Pro 2020. However when the iPad Pro M1 came out, I began to second guess my purchase. However, at the time I was enjoying the iPad Air and wasn’t experiencing any reason to take back the iPad Air and make an exchange. When I started using the iPad Air for work that is when my needs changed and my wants. Everything about the iPad Air is great, do not get me wrong. Just that I had the MacBook Air M1, and still do, and Apple silicone in it is great. It made me start to think though, what would the experience be like when having the M1 in an iPad? I ended up taking the iPad Air back just in time and exchanged it for the iPad M1 11 inch. I had the 12.9 iPad Pro 2018 for the longest time, but found myself wanting the smaller 11inch because the size was just right for my needs. The smaller size is just much more portable, I didn’t need the upgraded display nor the extra price tag. After making my exchange, I saw what I had been missing from owning the iPad Air 2020. I do enjoy Face ID over using my fingerprint, especially when I am using the iPad as a desktop computer. I also enjoy gaming on my iPad more now especially the 120z display. Also I use the iPad for work, and with the M1 chip I don’t have to worry about any work I throw at it. I love what Microsoft has done with its apps for the iPad. It’s a world of a difference from what it was like when Microsoft’s office apps were first offered in the App Store. You can now have multiple spreadsheets open now in excel, and that goes for PowerPoint as well. I like their approach used in the navigation bar compared to its desktop cousin version. I feel the menu system in the iPad version is organized better and I can actually find the right tools for what I need to do. Because my work now uses teams, its a breeze to share documents and files over the 24MB. I don’t mind the black bars on my display when using an external monitor, after a while I don’t even notice them. My recommendation, if you are only using the iPad for personal use and you want to use the updated Magic accessories and slightly bigger screen I would buy the Air. However, if you want a more capable, slightly even bigger screen, faster and you plan on using the Microsoft Office suite a lot, then I would buy the Pro; and of course if you plan on being a content creator or influencer on YouTube ;)

It's an ipad
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from a 2019 iPad base model. So far I don't notice too many differences except the bigger screen and a few improvements in the experience. It's taking me a while to get used to the touch gestures now that the home button is removed. Ive been enjoying not having to seperately charge the apple pencil since this one uses the second Gen that magnetically charges. The reason I'm giving this a 3 star is because of the storage options. 64 gb for the starting model is a joke, and not a funny one. Even the basic model ipad starts with 128gb. Also, this ipad has a rocky relationship with palm rejection which I don't think was as noticeable in the previous model I had. That might just be an issue exclusive to the device I own though.

Not too bad, but iPad Pro is better
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The reason I am giving 3 stars is because the Touch ID button stopped working after 3 months and the battery life is not AS great as I would like it to be. If it wasn't for those two things, it might be 4 stars instead. Great overall value and the perfect size for what I need. But if you have the extra money to spend, I would just go straight for the new 11" M1 iPad Pro. Face ID is so much more convenient than having Touch ID on the power button and the battery life is a LOT better.

iPad Air
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works well especially after adding the cover/keyboard combination however, I have noticed that there is a small light white circle in the upper left-hand corner that I’m going to have to have looked at I love that it’s very light weight and easy to use

Am I the only one who notices the display issue?
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Maybe I'm crazy, but when I first got my hands on this I was coming from an iPad Pro 2020 model. Of course, the 120hz refresh rate is an upgrade so going to the new Air was a weird change since it's only 60. However.. when using the Air, it actually felt more laggy / blurry than even the 3rd gen Air or any other non-Pro iPad. I tried to show this to others, they didn't notice it; but I did. Since this is my review, I will leave it at this; Touch ID on the power button is great and I prefer it over Face ID. The size and form factor are a welcome upgrade. The display? Not a fan.

||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had it for a week and things I didn’t like it was the refresh rate besides that I realize $ 599 /64 g / 4g mem / single camera ok. Then I move to iPad Pro and that was it = no return The iPad Pro 11” is a truly awesome machine @ $729 Best Buy’s flash sale was a + Love the 120 z 6 g mem 128 space + camera & LIDAR scanner it’s great for me. Best Buy had the best sales of the season also the customer service is great. The shipping was secure & amazingly fast.

About what you would expect.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.About what you would expect. A lot better than the cheap model, little worse than pro. Flaws in design, Touch ID is nice but it’s badly placed. The same button that turns it off is the Touch ID button. It’s a weird aspect ratio where no videos fit the display right. It only has a usb c port and when connected to accessories like music interfaces or as a 2nd display for a Mac it lags bad.

Newest iPad Air
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this iPad. The camera and screen display are crisp. Touch technology is much easier than entering passwords. I have been having an issue with the charging port being too tight since the day I opened it. Tried to contact Best Buy via email, but no response. My last iPad Air also had this issue and stopped charging. I intend to stay on top of this if the issue isn’t solved with use.

Not as good as I expected
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not been very impressed so far. It is very sleek feeling and looking. For the price I would think it would be quite a bit faster than my pro. I’m still not quite sure that I will keep it. I do like the colors it comes in, but honestly I am going to cover it up with a case to protect it anyway.

Buy only if you have use for it
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a very efficient and fast, quite useful if you are in school and have to take notes and keep the soft copy for reference instead of relying on pages and pages of notes. However, there is lag in changing handwritten messages(using Apple Pencil) to text, which can be frustrating,

Okay Product
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The portability and screen size of the iPad is the only reason I buy them. The operating system has too many limitations. In particular, it doesn't really support browser extensions and apps are very limited compared to my iPhone and MacBook.

iPad Air
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The person who helped me was ok, but when she went to get me the iPad Air that I wanted I had to wait a long time so I finally ask the salesman next to her if I could have a chair, he didn’t understand so I had to tell him again finally after the third time he said ok and went and got one. When the woman came back we finished the paperwork & I went to buy a case for my new iPad. It wasn’t until I got home that i discovered that she had given me the wrong color, silver instead of the blue I had requested. But I decided to just keep it as it has a case on it anyway and it was very hot that week and being handicapped it takes a lot of effort to walk into the store. The iPad so far is a upgrade to my old one.

Beautiful product with a couple glitches
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beautiful display and fast processing. Has some issues with turning off on its own and reading that we need to connect to a computer to restore. We might exchange it later if need be.
