Definitely better than my ancient one because the chip is much faster and the screen size is larger but not so much to make it cumbersome when traveling. The screen colors are vibrant and it well with the Apple earpods.

It is compatible with the Apple Pencil and she uses it every day. I will be purchasing this when I am ready for an upgrade!
