(We aren't an Apple family.) However, for work and a few other things, getting an iPad was necessary due to some apps only being available for the iPad and not the Samsung Galaxy tablets. He really loves this size and everything about it. He has it mounted in our Jeep when we go off-roading and in his truck. It's a great size- not too big and not too small.
