This iPad provides good service for the work I do in a daily basis such as messaging, staying on top of the news and preparing documents. It has gives me the newer programs I had been missing in my previous iPad. The Apple Pencil and keyboard are helpful additions in my work.

STUDENT BUYER BEWARE: Almost 6 month update review
Okay, so I’ve had my iPad Air M3 256gb for almost 6 months now, and here’s why I am selling it.
I am student currently and use this very heavily, and have had it replaced already once because the first one burnt out on me while i was using notability.
Just to disclose, I’ve only ever used the Apple chargers it came with and took the precautions to preserve battery life/health as much as possible but here are some major cons that should NOT be overlooked if you are a student looking to buy this and use it daily like i do.
PROS: super pretty, i loved the purple. Holds up pretty well in terms of all normal multi tasking, performance, and overall is really a beautifully presented iPad. Loved that it came with 256gb option, and is super portable especially for school and traveling. This size option made it so nice downsizing from my 4th gen iPad Pro 13inch. This will be perfect for someone who uses their iPad more casually, but not as heavily as someone like me who is pretty much on it all the time unless when I’m not studying.
I’m sorry but that is all for the pros. Unfortunately… this is a major con for me that Apple really needs to look into.
CONS: I’ve had my iPad replaced already once in the past 6 months from original purchase date. I don’t use my iPad for anything past school work related things and some occasional Netflix shows when I have the time. So between the two iPads I’ve owned I’ve noticed a major flaw in both of them and that’s that the iPad gets extremely warm a lot even when it’s just sitting idly on the Home Screen if let’s say I’m pivoting between my laptop and iPad. Charging? Gets hot. Notability? Hot. At first i thought maybe it was user error and it was me but even as i was charging it up a little to sell it, it was getting hot as i was navigating through settings to turn off Find My and Factory Rest. My battery drains pretty quickly but I won’t necessarily knock Apple for that because it’s unrealistic to expect it to last for days with heavy usage.
Bottom line, I’m selling this and already bought the Pro which has not gotten hot, despite how much i use it - and the colors are even more vibrant than the Air.
TLDR: iPad gets hot even when sitting idly most of the time being used, iPad has been replaced already and replacement still gets really hot. I only use Apple chargers and take care of my electronics. Buy the Pro instead if you are a student and need this to last you through college.

This is an amazing gift for my partner and i. We have been in need of something fast and efficient when it comes to our games. This has made it more convenient and used daily! Highly recommended this!

The M3 chip makes everything lightning fast—from multitasking to AI-based features. The display is bright, and battery life easily lasts all day. I do wish it had a 120Hz screen like the Pro models, but for the price, this is the best value in the iPad lineup right now.

It’s really good IPad for day to day needs to be done. If you have more demanding tasks to do this is always go to and handy as always and good battery life and awesome display as well. I would recommend it.

Was looking for an iPad for school. With enough storage space for my school work. Found this great easy iPad. Sturdy, and light enough to carry to and from school.
