This the best tablet I’ve ever owned! I still own the 2018 11in iPad Pro so you know I love this size. The m4 iPad Pro has everything you need in a tablet, amazing OLED display, great speakers, excellent performance, and good battery life. One thing I do wish was that they kept it the same thickness as the old iPad Pro so it could have a larger battery.

So glad I finally went ahead and purchased an iPad! I had been thinking of getting one for the last year but knew a new model was due to come out this year. Worth the wait! The OLED screen makes movies, videos and images look very pleasing to the eye. The black is a true black, less strain on the eyes and a more vivid picture. The speed at which I can switch between apps and documents, or through the browser is so fast. No lag or delay at all. I think purchasing iPad Pro is the way to go. You can do many things on this little handy device for school, work or hobbies without having to lug around your personal laptop. I haven’t yet found something that the iPad Pro can’t yet handle, it has so many functions. I’m a very pleased customer! Also! I highly recommend getting the Magic Keyboard, it helps you get the best use out of the iPad, and seamlessly access all of its capabilities.

    Definitely worth the upgrade

I recently decided my 2nd gen 13-inch iPad Pro was reaching the end of its proper life cycle. I generally use my iPad for both work and pleasure, constantly updating and highlighting PDF documents, replying to emails on the go, as a great Keynote remote for my Macbook, and when traveling it stores movies and series from my streaming services as well as working as a screen for in flight entertainment. Due to the price, I decided to go with the smaller iPad Pro (I preferred the M4 chip 11-inch versus the previous gen 13-inch pro) and I'm glad I did. I've had it for just over a month and it's been fantastic. Amazingly fast and responsive, and the screen is simply beautiful. I thought I would miss the larger size but it's the exact opposite. The keyboard layout (I have the Magic Keyboard) has been made so the keys are full-size yet optimized for the limited space, and because it's lighter than my previous gen model, it's great while on the go. All apps are significantly more responsive and battery life is amazing. My only disappointment with the newest Pro is that my 2nd gen Apple Pencil does not work with it (I didn't read the reviews, so my bad) but other than this it's definitely worth the upgrade.

So much power being held back by iPadOS

So I’m going to try to keep this short and sweet. This iPad is undoubtably the best iPad out with it blazing fast M4 processor and huge amount of storage/ram inside an ultra thin chassis. Its nothing less than amazing, to think all of this power can fit in something this thin & light. This tablet is ready to handle just about any task you throw at it. I love the high quality sounds the 4 speakers produce, the display is beautiful and knowing this iPad WILL LAST for years to come leaves me at ease. With all that being said I along with many others, I think this device is being held back by “iPadOS”. To have the ability to use this as a full fledge computer, something with an actual desktop/file system would do wonders for this thing. That is why I gave this iPad a 4/5. This device definitely has the horsepower to run a full-fledged operating system but Apple chose to held this back so it doesnt eat into its Mac sales. Its a shame that all this will ever be is “just an iPad”. Despite that I do still enjoy this product and think Apple did an outstanding job with it. I think for most people, if you’re like me and was using an iPad 9th gen Id say stick with it for another year or two unless you find an amazing deal on the M4 iPads (like myself, bought for $800.00 “open box”). If you really do have a use case for the M4 iPads then its a no brainer, go out and buy it.

Whenever I buy anything new, I check open boxes and refurbished products here at Best Buy or Apple.com. I have never had an issue with them, as they have the same warranty as brand-new products. Reps at Best Buy helped me choose accessories for my iPad M4. So far so good. Everything is working great and I love writing and taking notes on it with the stylus Pro with the many features you don't find with any stylos out there. Thanks for the saving!

Traded up from M1 11” iPad Pro. What an amazing improvement over my old iPad. The screen is amazing and the speakers are so much clearer than my M1 iPad speakers. It’s even much faster than any iPad I’ve ever used before.

I decided it was time to upgrade from my 7-year old iPad pro to the 512GB Apple iPad Pro in the same 11-inch. My last one served me well & I am really looking forward to years ahead with this one. The Liquid Retina display was quite the upgrade for me, as was the Apple Pencil Pro. I went with the higher hard drive that doubled the storage space of my old iPad, but did not make the investment to purchase the full TB model because I was concerned that I would not sufficiently utilize it. Performance-wise, the iPad Pro's utilization of their new m4 processor makes it feel overwhelmingly faster than my old iPad. I also opted for the Magic Keyboard, and love the fact that the iPad can snap on and off the magnets on the fly. This iPad, along with the magic keyboard and the Apple Pencil Pro are my daily drivers. I am on the go across county day in & day out so I wanted something that was small and agile. In addition to watching YT videos or checking email, I do illustration as well as photo editing. Affinity put out some really nice apps that work solidly on this tablet. I can almost forget that this is a tablet because of how adaptive it is. Why the docking of a star? I don’t like the design of the tablet that allows imprinting of the magic keys across the screen. I like the keyboard & like the functionality. I can wipe the screen off, but didn’t experience that with my 7 year old model that I had paired with a Logitech keyboard.

I recently upgraded to the iPad Pro M4 11-inch from an older model and the difference is night and day. The new M4 chip truly transforms the user experience with its blazing-fast performance. Whether I’m editing 4K videos, sketching with the Apple Pencil, or juggling multiple apps, this iPad handles it all without a hitch. The 11-inch Liquid Retina display is gorgeous. Colors pop, and the motion is incredibly smooth, especially with the 120Hz ProMotion technology. It's a pleasure to use for everything from professional graphic design to watching movies. Battery life is robust, easily getting me through a full day of mixed use including drawing, browsing, and streaming. USB-C charging is quick and convenient, though I wish the charger in the box was a bit more powerful for even faster top-ups. The camera system is impressive for a tablet. The front camera makes FaceTime calls look great, and the rear cameras are handy for scanning documents and occasional photography. However, storage options can get expensive, and I recommend opting for at least 256GB if you plan to use it as a professional tool. Also, while the speakers are great, I miss the headphone jack. The iPad Pro M4 11-inch is a top-tier tablet that’s well worth the investment for anyone serious about productivity or creative work on the go. It’s not just a tablet; it’s a powerful computer that fits in your hands.

    Upgraded from M2 iPad Pro

Yes, it may not have been necessary to upgrade from my 11-inch M2 ipad Pro, but I doubled my storage from 256 to 512 gb, and now have a fresh battery versus one that had been used 10 hours a day for two years. And the screen improvement is significant and beautiful! Then why only 4 stars? The sound quality of the four speakers isnt what I heard coming out of my M2 Pro. Maybe since it’s thinner Apple went with smaller or thinner speakers. They sound tinny and muffled compared to before, though still very good and useable. Second, why no ultrawide camera? I use my iPad as a camera, and loved that lens. It’s cheap of Apple to have deleted it. Despite these flaws, I love this upgrade due to screen, noticeably lighter weight and thinner body, and more storage. The faster M4 chip isnt really that noticeable.

I had a 4th generation iPad Air and upgraded to this version. The improvements that were obvious: speed and screen clarity. I know the second doesn't make sense from the specs, but what really seems to be noticeable is that the blacks are really black and the overall appearance is better. I would say that the stability on some apps is also improved, probably due to the updated chip. I don't have enough data to provide a good assessment on the battery life. Initially I would say that it was actually worse than the previous iPad, but that was most likely due to all of the updates done during set up. I would say that today it is the same. So was it worth it? For me, yes. What really sealed the deal was a more than reasonable value on the trade in.

I recently got my hands on the new iPad M4 11 inch, and as a new teacher, it has truly been a game changer for my classroom experience. The AI features integrated with the hardware are nothing short of amazing, offering seamless support from lesson creation to student communication. The fast processing speeds ensure that I'm never left hanging during crucial teaching moments. One of the standout features is the compatibility with the new Apple Pencil Pro. The precision and fluidity it offers take digital note-taking and document annotation to another level, making daily tasks feel intuitive rather than cumbersome. Adding to this, the magic keyboard diversifies the iPad further, transforming it effortlessly into a powerful workstation.
