A weak link leads to a disastrous flaw

After much use, the cord where it attaches to the connection into the device has become frayed and exposed electrical wiring. Apple charges a premium for such items and they last like a knock off. I would recommend this product with a warning of the flaw

Works fine as a replacement

I had tried several different ones that was suppose to work but none of the lasted long. Hopefully this will last, but it shout have been replaced under the warranty when the iPad was replaced. I shouldn't have had to buy one.
