Needed it for the iPod as it was not included. Not sure why Apple does include since it's required to charge the unit.

Very pleased with this charger. It is worth the extra money. I use it as an extra charger for office use.

This isn't the first one of these I have purchased. It charges our ipads much faster than the smaller cube shaped charger.

I find the Apple plug works well, and is easy to use. The plug folds into housing so it doesn't get bent.

You can't go wrong when you buy the right charger for the right product. It just charge my ipad faster than the cheapos.

Original replacement part ... just like the charger that came with the ipad air. I wanted a second to leave at work.
