Wattage makes a difference!

I went to buy a new dc adapter and found out that the ipad needs a 12-watt adapter. The iphone adapter is a 5-watt, which is inadequate for a tablet. Works great in the iphone. Learned to look at wattage output in the future. Very knowledgable associate educated me.
