These chargers work well and are reliable. At this price, Apple should include the cable. If they charged a few more bucks and included the cable, that would be a bit better, *both* my cables and chargers seem to walk away at home on a regular basis. Apple charges a lot for their cables and chargers, but so far, I not been able to find 3rd party chargers and cables that work reliably and last as long, my iPad 1 charger still works. Marking down a star for the price (and not including the cable!)

Prefer this adapter for iPad minis when charging opposed to the regular small box adapter. I'm able to charge my tablet quicker.

12w is meant for the iPad but can be used for the iPhone also. charges faster than the regular iPhone wall charger piece.
