This is the first time that I've owned an Apple computer and I must say I love my iMac. It is fast, beautiful and the transition to Apple's operating system has been pretty simple. No complaints here.

I purchased this for my youngest daughter for her high school graduation. She loves it! After having so many issues with PC's over the years I bought an iMac years ago and bought one for all 3 of my daughters. We are an Apple family now because they simply work great. This latest version just keeps getting better and has a fantastic 21.5" screen with plenty of memory. It comes with a great wireless keyboard. The only thing she wishes it had was a CD drive. It can be purchased as a separate item but why not build it in like in older models? It doesn't make a difference to save the thickness on a desktop model. That's the only negative that I can see with an otherwise excellent product.

I have been wanting this iMac since, well forever. And the price was scary, but in all reality Apple makes great products. Now I've always had Dell or HP Computers so the transition to IOS has been a little challenge, but everyday I learn something new. I have even called Apple Care, I believe it what it's called. And the guy was VERY and I mean very helpful, informative and friendly. This computer is so slick it can fit anywhere in your home. I bought this iMac unexpectedly and need to get a nice desk for it, but in the mean time it's sitting on my dining room table. For a temporary solution it works. I love the keyboard it's so easy to type, I love the look of the icons. It's going to take a while to get used to all the ways to use it and figure out the tools and tricks and shortcuts. But finally after a few years of stalking it online on the Best Buy website it is finally all MINE! ;)

IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE A COMPUTER MAC,AND THE TRUTH IS SUPER INTERESTING AND CONVENIENT

This is my second Mac. My first one still works flawlessly but is 9 yrs old, which is ancient by computer standards, and no longer accepts updates from Apple. My new Mac is,as usual, easy to operate and navigate to what I need. Its super-fast and ultra-quiet AND I'm not constantly sent updates for security patches like Windows does. It just works. I noticed that none of the Macs comes with a built-in CD/DVD drive, I guess thats how its done nowadays. No matter. I'm confident it will last another 9+ years without incident.

I dont know how but I caught this iMac on sale for $899. It sells refurbished for that price, so to have it BRAND NEW from best buy at this price was EVERYTHIIIIING!!!. Omg, first let me say, I'm a blogger and have been blogging from my macbook pro for 4 years now and I cant tell you how much my LIFE has changed because of this thing. My wrist started hurting using my little trackpad on my laptop and editing just became tedious and cumbersome. BUT NOWWWWWW?????.....everything is soooo much better! Editing, videos, pictures, browsing the web, researching, saving docs, everythiiiiing! The screen is huuuuuuge so it makes for an insane experience and an insanely enjoyable one. It usually take me 2-3 hours on my macbook to edit a 5 min video on final cut and with the iMac, I can get it done in half the time now, roughly about 1.5 or just at an hour most of the time. I've never had an imac so for me, again, this is completely life changing. So everything on it is wireless which makes for a great appearance but an even better work station and such ease of use. I kept asking myself, where the hek have I been?!! It's portable, lightweight, and gorgeous!!!. I recently moved so packing it was a breeze and I was able to carry it on the plane with me. The picture quality to ME is great, I've never had retina display so it didn't really matter nor was it necessary for me. Besides, my eyeballs are happy with this. Also if you're wondering which one to get as far as the screen size? the 21-inch is PERFECT. It's so big for me that my hand slides off the desk sometimes while draggin the mouse across the screen. I have a huge desk from Ikea that is about 60 inches in width, so you really need the desk space with this thing. Anything over 21-inches, I think is too much unless you're just on that level in life. But for the average person, blogger, or youtuber, this thing is BEYOND amaaaaaaazing! Best Buy totally got me when they had it on sale for black friday for $899, never seen it this low on ANY site so it was a no brainer and absolute MUST for me. Love love love it!

This is a top notch machine. The ONLY drawback is that it doesn't have an e drive. We bought an external one and are loving it. Bust Buy had the best price within 200 miles.

I have had my iMac now for about a month and I must admit, being a user of a laptop for the past 10 years, this has been a very pleasant adjustment. Yes laptops are convenient, but they can be limited as well. I am enjoying the MUCH bigger screen, the iMac is very fast bringing up web pages, and the clarity of the screen is awesome, and I have not removed the plastic that it was wrapped in when I took it out of the box and even with that everything is sharp and crystal clear. same thing with the keyboard, I left the plastic on that as well, those of you who have a bit of OCD, or just like to keep the things you purchase clean, or "like new" will understand, the rest will think it's a bit crazy and that's ok. The only thing that I can say that I don't like, and why I gave it only 4 stars is that it does not come with a CD/DVD drive, other than that, I am very happy with my purchase. Bottom line, if you are considering this iMac or are maybe on the fence, jump down and get it, you will not regret it.

Works great, picture is amazing, love the sleek look. Once you get use to MAC instead of a PC the computer is super easy to navigate.

Did I really need this, no. For what we mostly do in our house a Chromebook would of worked fine. But my wife loves iTunes and her very extensive library so it just makes my life a lot easier to upgrade our old 7 year iMac to the newest. Shame on me for not knowing it never had a SuperDrive. Now that that is out of the way, it is an excellent machine. The design is fantastic. The screen is great. It's nice and fast and does everything we need it to do so I can't fault it. But for the price it better be good.

I got tired of the Windows based PCs/laptops and with the new Windows 8 GUI driving me crazy, it was time to try something new. I've never considered buying a Mac book or iMac but when the price was so good on Black Friday I decided to take the plunge. I love my new iMac from the sleek elegant design to the user friendliness. It only took me a few hours to master the user interface. No manual to read considering I have not used an iMac before. Love the wireless keyboard and wireless mouse. I have never used a windows pc/laptop before that I would call it a beautiful machine. But I have to say the iMac is not only beautiful, it is also powerful and user friendly. I still have my windows machines but now they must be very jealous because I hardly touch them any more :) The reason I did not give it 5-star is because iOS doesn't let me install certain plug-ins or apps that are not from the apps store.

Bought this for my wife for Valentines Day. Major points. Beautiful machine. I bought it because I already have a mid-2010 iMac 27" and it runs like the day I bought it. One of the best investments you can make in technology is an iMac. These newer models DO NOT include a CD/DVD drive. In my case it doesn't matter because her iMac can use the CD/DVD drive in my iMac via my network.

After years of asking me for a iBook i saw this iMac on Best Buy.com and couldn't pass up the deal. My wife is very hard on electronics so i couldn't invest in the iBook and she agreed that wouldn't be the best investment. When i saw the iMac (i'll assume last years model) on sale for 799 i couldn't pass up the deal. We love this computer. It is fast, dependable and reliable. what's even better is that since we have iPhone it allows my wife to stay connected while she is working. She can receive her text messages, Facetimes etc and never miss a beat. The Microsoft office products will open on regular PC's so there we never have to worry about information be lost or possible not being able to be opened when we email/send it out. Setting the computer and the associated software (email, work, etc) was extremely easy. The only issue we had was getting passed the part where the system looks for a wifi network. it was easy to bypass, but it did take me a few minutes to figure it out. we love the fact that their are no wires running to the pcrephials and the only cord we have is the power cord. The iMac automatically recognized and found our wireless printer. we love this thing.

I got this for my wife to do work on and do do photo editing mainly. She loves it, and it syncs perfectly with any Apple devices you have in your home over WiFi. Great speedy computer and easy setup

I love my new iMac computer with its 8 GB of memory. It has replaced my old Dell which was so slow I wanted to pitch it out the window. The iMac is sleek, super fast & easy to use. It is pretty easy to learn all of its neat features. The screen is large with beautiful graphics.
