This is my first experience with an iMac and I couldn’t be happier. Fast and reliable, great screen resolution and very responsive. I got a great deal on it, due to the fact that it is a last year model, but still a very good machine, 4K graphics and the performance you would expect from a Mac. Highly recommend it!

This has been a homework lifesaver. I have been so fed up with Windows products for the past decade, I decided to switch to Apple. What a relief. It's taking some time to get used to, but I'm getting the hang of it. I'm not one to write professional reviews on system specifications, but I will say that this is the finest, clearest viewing screen I have ever owned. This is also the fastest, most dependable (so far) computer as well. I don't know why I waited so long.

Never owned a Mac before now and everyone said if you love windows you won't like Mac... they couldn't have been more wrong. It'd fluid, lightning fast, easy to use & easy to learn how, especially with Apple Care. I'm super happy with it.

I have had other computers in the past but this one beats them all hands down. Very easy to use and great screen resolution. Highly recommended.

We like this computer! The clarity is good and it's easy to navigate. We did think the Sales person told us a charger for the cordless mouse was included, but it wasn't, so charging the mouse fairly frequently is a bit of a downside.

I gave my 24" 2011 iMac to someone in need of a computer figuring I'd get the 27" iMac. When I looked over my desk I realized I could do just as well with the 21.5" for $700 less. This fits my workspace better. I can't tell the difference between a 4K and a 5K screen for what I use it for. It has a lot more going for it compared to my previous iMac in terms of speed, graphics, and other features. If this lasts 7 years and though slow, the 2011 functioned well, I will be set until 2025!

My 14 year old daughter loves it this iMac. Really powerful and the display is amazing. Recommend buying a full keyboard along with it if you are used to it, but it's not a big issue otherwise.

I had a 2009 I-Mac that was still good, like a fool I pushed the table and it fell off, but this 2017 model is better then the old one. I am still learning on this model, so far I am pleased.

I have been using Windows computers since the mid 80s. I have finally given up. I hated Windows 10. I decided to go with a new I Mac so it would link effortlessly with my I Pad Pro and I Phone. The design is clean and efficient, just like I would expect from Apple. It is fast and easy to use.

I love my new Apple Desktop Computer. The graphics are awesome, lots of memory and the size of the screen is not too small and not too big.

Screen is fantastic, and the computer is zippy. I've downloaded a few programs on it, like Microsoft Office and the Sims 4, and they both work wonderfully too. I have a MacBook Air, but I used it mostly at my desk. The iMac is much more comfortable to work at for long periods of time. I look forward to using it for years to come!

I went in to get the Black Friday special, however they were sold out, so I grabbed the next one up. To be honest I was skeptical about getting this model as it only had an i5 processor and only 8gb of ram and now way of upgrading, without voiding the warranty. I knew I was tired of Windows, and the endless “your computer has a virus call us immediately” despite having virus protection scams. Also, I needed a computer that could handle the programs. I used, ie photo video editing. The associate assured me Apple could handle it, as Apple was built for things like that he said. So I j7mped and got one. Happily I can say it ha does eve thing I’ve thrown at it, and might I say better than the windows machine I used previously, with nearly identical processors and Neal’s double the ram in the windows unit. However I must say when logging into my email I got that screen “we’ve detected a virus on your computer call us immediately” screen. Well, now I use Trend Micro and haven’t seen that screen since. So the myth that Apple computers don’t get viruses....well better safe than sorry. Mentioning the Trend Micro, this computer is listed with a 6 month free trial to Trend Micro and Apple Music for 3 months. Well, apparently best hu6 is supposed to email you these codes, of which I never received, even after calling corporate, their promise to send them right out, still hasn’t happened.

I have been using this new computer for six weeks now and it is disappointingly slow. With the Intel Core i5 3.0 GHz processor (with turbo boost up to 3.5 GHz) and a discreet Radeon Pro graphics card, I expected a speedy computer. It is not. Documents are slow to open; there is frequently a lag time in completing tasks as simple as adjusting the volume; and Spotlight searches can take 3 – 4 time longer than on my old, 2008 iMac. Another disappointment is Apple’s decision to eliminate the built-in DVD drive and remote control that used to ship with iMacs. (Admittedly, these are changes that Apple made a few years back but since they did not affect me until the purchase of this new computer, I will mention them here.) I watch a lot of DVD’s on my computer and liked the convenience of a built-in DVD drive. Now, not only do I need to spend extra money for an external DVD drive ($79.99 for an AppleSuper drive) and remote ($34.99 for a Bluetooth media remote), but my desk has an additional peripheral cluttering it. There are no USB ports that are easily accessible from the front. Gone is the USB ports that used to be integrated into the keyboard. They are all inconveniently located in the back now. To get around this, I have had to purchase a USB hub, which is yet another peripheral cluttering my desk for an item that used to be part of the computer. I miss the numeric keypad on the keyboard. To purchase a separate, third party keypad runs about $50. This is another item that used to be included as part of an iMac purchase and now costs extra. Also, the up/down arrow keys are annoyingly small and therefore hard to use without looking at them. One feature I do like is the Retina screen. It is beautiful! When I purchased the computer, I was expecting the biggest benefit in using a Retina screen would be in the rendering of images and graphics. Yes, they are clear and look amazing. But the biggest (and unexpected) benefit of the Retina screen is the resolution it offers type. Text displays with a sharpness and crispness that rivals a printed page. While the Retina screen is nice, it does not offset the frustration of having new computer that is slow. Good chance that my next computer will be a PC AIO.

iMac with 21.5 inch Retina 4K display was very easy to un pack from the box and very easy to set up. The colors on the display are outstanding. The Apple Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse are exceptional. They both work very well. Overall, a Great Buy.
