I recently bought the new 24 inch iMac M1 for my main computer and was going to recycle the late 2012 iMac 21.5 it replaces until I decided that perhaps the 21.5 inch would be a good second machine for the bedroom. It still ran very well but could only upgrade to iOS 10. All of a sudden I thought "I wonder if a new late model Intel based iMac is still available? I tried eBay, Sweetwater, B&H Photo, Amazon...nothing available unless it was used or refurbished. I then sent on Bestbuy.com to see but wasn't optimistic after all of the "dead ends." Lo and BEHOLD!! There was THIS late 2019 iMac!! It was ON SALE for $999. Could it be true?? YES! The deciding factor was the display is Retina 4K. OMG! I am a display freak and don't like pixels. I hit ORDER NOW and picked it up a couple hours later at my local Best Buy. GRAB THIS THING WHILE YOU CAN!!! It will make a great secondary iMac or if you don't do a lot of power-play on your computer, a great primary computer. Granted it's only got 8GB RAM but my old iMac 21.5 also had just 8GB RAM and I never had a problem. I still cannot believe these are available new. THANK YOU BEST BUY. This model really DID retail for $1499 new. It's not fake news. This is BY FAR the BEST BUY I've ever made at BEST BUY. One more thing, the Intel Core i7 is my sweet spot with computers but this one's i5 so far is very snappy and very useable. SERIOUSLY, if you want an all-in-one desktop computer with 4K display for the price of an entry level MacBook Air....$999....this is a STEAL. Best Buy ROCKS. PS: If you don't grab this now while it's still new and available, you'll kick yourself. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Excellent performance and graphics. Easy to set up and run out of the box. Doesn't come with set up instructions but the machine has a self-starting set up series of steps that are easy to follow. To save time setting up be sure to have all your passwords available, eg. internet connection, etc. Coming from using a Mac in the last 10 years, everything is intuitive. Switching from another operating system it would help to have an experience user close buy. Great value home computer.

I never had a Mac before so it was a bit of a learning curve but it is much faster than my older model PC and much less trouble to maintain as it doesn't require all those cleanup utility programs. The Retina 4K is really so sharp that you better make sure that your photos are in focus. The Magic Mouse is very pleasant to use as no wheel is needed to scroll.

This is my second IMac. My first one lasted five years. This time I bought a 21.5 IMac and I love it. The screen size is perfect. I had the larger screen five years ago, but I like this size better as it is not so overwhelming on my desk. I have found nothing to complain about with this computer, Setup was a breeze. It is fast and does everything that I need to do. Very satisfied. 5 stars!

I have always owned Windows computers and was getting tired of bad updates, slow boot up times and the need for constant updates I took the big jump and bought an iMac. No regrets! I am still learning the operating system and different feel of the Apple keyboard and Magic Mouse I have realized the most important attribute. If you have an Apple I phone you will have no problem using this PC. They are both very similar in their operations and are very self intuitive to use, I still have more to learn but I am learning this very quickly. On the cons side, the keyboard is very small and worth the upgrade to the larger Apple or any other full size keyboard. The Magic Mouse is not so magic snd worth a trade to a standard mouse, the rest is operating perfection. It boots up quickly and quietly. The ‘Big Sur’ operating system is a breeze. This PC is fast and quiet and very easy to use. Make the jump from Windows and try the Apple Experience. You will not regret the Apple IMac!

Finally went with an iMac after years using a PC. So glad I made the switch. The display is amazing and the computer is very fast. Love the mouse and keyboard. Also takes up much less room on my desk. Very happy

nice computer, nice price, great graphics , great display, but I really no recommend do not buy open box this kind of computer, because I had some issues with IOS, thank God Apple Store fixed, because Best Buy said its apple warranty, factory warranty and they never do nothing

Been wanting to purchase an iMac as a family computer for some time. Mixed-use: Grad work, Entertainment, General Household. Can easily stream video or music while working in multiple windows and tabs. Works every time. Wish Apple would have included the extended keyboard for the price. There are some of us who are loyal but open to another brand because sometimes it feels like the company is just taking the consumer for all they can get (which I get how businesses work) but to move someone like me from sometimes loyal to completely loyal things like if you purchase something like a desktop, include the bonuses like the extended keyboard. Just my two cents...still love it.

This machine is powerful and absolutely beautiful the ease of use is exceptional as indicated from product reviews. This is my first Apple Computer I was introduced to technology on Apple computers back in Middle School.

Bought this for my Mom to replace her ailing Windows PC. This one is much easier to use and harder for her to mess up. The only challenge was overcoming the barrier of being used to Windows and now having MacOS.

This computer does everything with ease from video editing to word processing and everything in between. I Zoom with it, record video, surf the Internet and manage my cloud storage with ease.

I purchaded this iMac to substitute my Windows desktop PC. I grew tired of Windows' unstability. I spent more time fixing things. Now, I LOVE iMac very, very much. It is very fast, without bloatware, very stable and reliable. As a musician, I welcome GarageBand which I use for composing and recording my inspirations with my acoustic guitar thru a condenser microphone. During my many recording sessions, my iMac performance was super. Also when editing videos same thing, no problems at all. I highly recommend it.

The first IMac was purchase 2010, so we needed to purchase a second. This IMac is very FAST. It is Intuitive to utilize. The Picture is very crisp and clear. Easy to transfer old files. Pleased with IMac.

This 4K iMac is the absolute best bang for your dollar! You don’t like macOS you say? No problem. Just install Windows running virtually or physically and you have the option of switching back and forth! It’s a no brainer. The screen by itself on this computer would cost you about $600 and the performance is enough for most gamers! Also, don’t forget the audio on this thing is enough to throw a party! Don’t be a lemming and think about the benefits of getting quality hardware for whatever your need may be.

I love my Mac, Im on it just about every day, Don't quite understand its features but so far it does me right. Its a good size too

Beautiful computer. Girlfriend uses it for many of her little jobs and she never has any issues. It’s also fast which is essential.

This is our 4th desktop iMac since 2004, and each one has been better than the one before. We were first attracted by the all-in-one concept of computer and screen, but we learned to appreciate the operating system as much as the elegant design. This is our first one with the Retina display, and also the first one without a built-in CD-DVD player. We don't miss that feature, and the unit is lighter, slimmer, and less complicated. But the separate Apple DVD player and recorder would fit nicely beneath the iMac if needed.

This iMac replaced my late 2013 model and I am very pleased with my purchase. The iMac's SSD and processor are great and it is incredibly fast. The display/graphics are awesome as well especially when compared with my previous iMac. Big Sur is great as well. I was torn between this and the new 24'' iMac but based on my usage and needs, I am happy that I went with this model. I HIGHLY recommend this iMac.

I was in need of a new computer and then i saw this and it hasnt let me down at all. I have been using it ever since. I highly recommended it

I love my new computer. It's fast and easy to use. All my programs come up quickly. And the colors are good, although that's not a major concern for me.
