My son needed a computer for his school work for 7th grade. I saw this computer on sale for $500 off, and thought it was a great deal. I was able to pick it up the same day from our local Best Buy. Being a Mac, it was a super simple set up. Needless to say my son is thrilled and I use the machine while he's at school. We ended up hooking up a Dell monitor to the Mac for more space. No issues so far!

Another great Apple product. Easy set up by using data transfer from older Mac or backup disk. Screen resolution is amazing, better than ever with great color reproduction. I’m just a casual user but I appreciate the speed and response of the machine. Upgraded from an eleven year old Mac, hope this one is as durable. Exterior design is sleek and modern. Has enough ports for peripheral products. Only drawback had to purchase an exterior disc burner.

I have been using this Mac for one year. this computer is flawless. I'm never going back to HP computers.

There are many things to like about the new M1 iMacs but just as many to be disappointed in. Case in point is that the entry level model which is still un-upgradeable but only has 2 USB4/Thunderbolt 4 ports both of which require USB-C cables or adapters. This Intel iMac has 2 Thunderbolt 3/USB3/USB-C ports and 4 standard USB ports and an Ethernet port and an SD memory card slot. If you only use WiFi and all your other peripherals are wireless then that is less of a problem. But if you have a USB backup hard drive or use USB flash drives, you will need adapters at $15~80 a pop. The other noticeable difference is that you may still find apps that don’t run on Apple silicon but run just fine on the older Intel iMac. Given the choice, I went with the classic Intel iMac, even knowing the future wil be with Apple Silicon. Chances are that by the time you can read this, the 21.5” i5 iMac will be sold out, but it is worth considering while still available.

Still need assistance transferring information from old computer, but overall, this is an excellent computer. I'm switching from pc to mac, and I've been able to move through it intuitively so far. Love the design, graphics and clarify. Very stylish and lightweight. Extremely easy to set up, and love that it's synced up with my iPad and iPhone!

so this was my first machine with a Mac OS since the first year Jaguar was released...whenever that was. and after that long i have to admit the learning curve was a bit sharper than I anticipated it would be. so because of my unfamiliarity with more recent Apple products (outside of iPhone, which is the only smartphone I've ever used) I don't feel qualified to compare this one to past models. What I can say is that it was not from a lack of desire to return to the Apple fold, nor any love for or loyalty to Windows that kept me using a PC for this long. And I'm thriled to be back finally. If you are a new Apple owner I (and therefore likely a longtime Windows user) I guess the advice I wish I would have been given sooner is to take full advantage of the user guides and tutorials and anything that says "About your Mac". There's a lot to be learned that will make the transition a lot faster and less painful. I'm looking forward to my next few decades of more so today than I ever was when using microsoft.

APPLE never fails, I had to buy this quick due to Pandemic and my kids online school, my MacBookAIr i had for 11 years finally died on me. I didnt want another Laptop since I have a iPad Pro no real reason for it, so I bough my first iMac (Desktop)...... Fast, easy to use, large screen but yet does not take up much space.

I didnt go wrong getting this hot machine. This is our 2nd iMac. Everything is seamlessly working with our apple devices, so convenient. $999 is a steal for a “blow up” macbook air lolz. Didnt like the new iMac, looks like a pile of colored cardstock hahaha while this one is iconic (maybe the last design of J. Ives for Apple?).

The iMac is reliable, fast and fun to use. Would recommend to anyone. Great graphics, and easy to use.

I have been wanting to buy a Mac for years and I'm so glad I went with the 21.5'' I have only had it for two months and I have zero problems with it so far. I think its a very good investment and computer to have. We all have iPhones so backing up to a laptop always took hours and for some reason a lot of things wouldn't save. With the Mac it didn't take long at all and it was all a fast and easy set up.

Excellent value at the sale price ($999.99) I upgraded from a 2011 model. It was so old I couldn't even update the OS anymore! Big Sur is excellent and overall runs like a dream. If you're on the fence about the sale price / this being the last of it's kind, don't be! The value really can't be beat.
