We received our new 27" iMac desktop in the time-frame indicated. However, once it was set-up and turned on, there were no other instructions other than what came on a mini-Quick-start brochure. After spending over $1500 you would think that the instruction booklet could be designed so that the average person could READ it! The print was so small! And the explanation and examples were hardly readable on 3x5 sheet of fold-out paper! ! C'mon! After shipping a 27" screen you could afford to print instructions to use it on a 8-1/2x11 piece of paper! We have had our iMac for a month and after numerous calls to the help center--which we had to look up ourselves on the internet because there were no Help instructions included, we learned that this "opened-box" product did not come with the main ingredients: Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Garage Band, iphotos or photos! After considerable time on the phone with Apple help, we were able to download them from the internet at no cost, but that was promised to be included with our system and it was NOT. We have yet to have our Mac and IOS devices work together. We have been unable to see all our photos taken on our iphone or with our camera, on our iPad for example. It would be helpful if a task sheet were included in the box to walk us through the simple arrangement of icons and explain the file structure so we could begin using our iMac efficiently. We are not new to computers. No phone numbers, no customer service to call, nothing. Not even an email for Best Buy help --and calling their customer service is a nightmare!. Not a very friendly way of doing business.

I wanted this computer because I use an equivalent/previous model at work. In general good performance although too invasive with all the information required for starting up. The bad experience is that when I was working on a poster the computer crashed always when I tried to open a jpeg file. Since I did not have time to solve the issue that day, I had to go back to the lab to finish my poster.

I am very happy our new computer. The delivery time was excellent. My only complaint was that the batteries to the keyboard were dead when it was delivered.

I was super excited to use my first ever mac, I have had many many apple products such as an ipad or iphone which I still use and I enjoy them very much. However the iMac was not my most favorite apple product if you have been using a mac your whole life this will probably be great for you. If you are trying to make the switch from windows I cannot suggest this product. Best buy has an excellent return policy and I was able to get something else that fits my needs. The mac is pretty under powered for the price but I guess it is more of the experience.

I really liked the speed of this Mac but I needed a MacBook Mire for the mobility.

Beautiful computer but not easy to switch from windows to apple.

I heard all the great reviews about iMacs and how simple and easy they are to use,don't be fooled.you will need to learn commands to operate this thing and it's no way close as easy as a PC unit...granted my old PC was xp idk how win7,8 operate. xp was point click drag,,,nothing like that now...need to put serious time into learning to use this thing

Here are some issues with the iMac: 1. Fix display stand (I cannot replace stand with vesa mount) 2. Cannot change the monitor’s display height (iMac screen is higher than thunderbolt display and display height is fixed. I think it's because there is a air vent on the bottom of screen (Design flaw)). Because of this I have neck pain from this high display height of the computer. I have three monitors on my desk with fixed height and iMac is higher than all of them. 3. In built HD camera has brightness and color issue. There is no camera control in the system to fix that. 4. Mouse: With full tracking rate, mouse is going out of mouse pad when moving from one corner to another corner of 27” inch screen.

I bought this as a retired floor model. The promised accessories could not be found but were replaced by other products. Set it up and it worked for about two weeks before the hard drive died. Had to go back and buy a newer, more expensive brand. All of the work on the hard drive could not be saved by geek squad as they said the hard drive was the problem.

I’ve using this mac since 2015. I had a lot of problems. 1. The price is very expensive compare to Windows computer wich also have the same specifications. 2. It can not handle to be install software like Final Cut pro, Motion 5, the computer will be freezing and slower. 3.

It is a product for a someone who makes or creates music and it has a really big screen which we also like. Its a nice product but i still don't believe in my own eyes that its worth the money but it was for my fiance.

I would have given this computer a higher score except that the wifi disconnects every time it goes to sleep, super frustrating. The temporary fix is to run a diagnostic which will solve the problem till it goes to sleep again. I looked online and it seems that this is a common problem for the 27in imac, and Apple has yet to address it with any of its updates or updates to come. There doesn't seem to be an actual fix for this issue just ways of getting around it by caffeinating your desktop so it wont go to sleep.

Wish it had a cd or dvd drive still built in like the older models

I had fallen from a ladder at the time of the order and broken my back and after being in the hospital for two week and then recovering for three months I waited till 10/4 2014 to get †he Geek squad to install Quicken I am finely starting to use the computer. I now find Apple does not have Access Data Base which I use to run my business.

I still don't know how to use many features but loving it.
