My fiancé and I purchased the IMac for her to work from home and for me to pay bills and do online shopping, surfing etc. The iMac has been an amazing computer so far and we have no complaints. It's super quick, plenty large for dual screens and does everything we hoped it would.

purchased the larger screen as a gift for my parents. They are able to easily display two full windows sided by side for browsing without difficulty reading the text. I also selected a Mac as I believe it's a bit more user friendly for people not used to working with computers

After my husband got a Mac notebook, I became very interest in getting a desktop for myself. It was very easy to convert my data from my old Windows desktop to this computer. It is incredibly fast and intuitive. The only drawbacks I have found were to keyboard (very small and no number pad or full arrow keys) and the mouse (I have not been able to find a way to control the tracking speed to my satisfaction).

For a year I have been hesitating if I should buy this computer or not. Now that I bought it, I wished I did not waste a year of hesitation and had bought it right away. Well "better late than never"

I switched from a PC and I will never go back this computer is simple but very powerful I use it to edit videos music production etc I got the base model because I knew I could upgrade my RAM anytime which I did immediately overall this machine is a beast

My PC was running Win 7 and I was getting extremely tried of all of the updates and slow booting. The purchase of this Mac has solved both of those problems. I am not new to Apple so the learning curve has been short. Of course there is still many "Apple" features that I have yet to discover. Setup was very easy. The Mac located all of the peripherals and set them up without much help from me. The large screen is a bit of an over-kill for home use but it's nice to be able to enlarge things if you prefer. And the Retina screen is much better than my TV picture. I have both apple and Win 10 operating systems installed. The large screen allow me to use both systems [side by side]. The unit is a bit pricy but if it lasts as long as some of the blogs have claimed, I won't need a replacement for a l-o-o-ong time. Overall, I'm extremely happy with my new Mac.

My husband and I are starting a small business and me being the loyal Apple customer that I am convinced him to invest in the Mac as we will be an online service. Even though we have only had it for two weeks it has served us well. My husband has been able to cut back on work a couple hours simply with the amount of real estate this thing offers. We bought the Better Snap tool out of the app store which has increased our productivity tremendously. Not to mention we feel 100% protected with Apple care and do not have a problem pouring our important information into the computer. The steep price is worth the ease of mind as we approach launch date!

I've been a PC owner since the start, but with the addition of my iPad I thought I would give Apple a try on a computer. Wireless mouse & keyboard that recharges with the standard charger for all Apple products - Awesome! The entire computer is built into the monitor, but if you need a DVD you'll have to buy one on the side. The screen...Huge and better than any HD TV screen out there. In the end, more money than other options out there, but you truly get what you pay for. Save up if needed and get something that will last.

The screen on the iMac can't be beat. Combine with good processors, easily expandable memory, and $300 off and this is a no brainer.

This computer is so fast and the color is amazing. I customized the font and now it works beautifully for these eyes. I couldn't be more pleased with the 27 inch monitor.

The screen is beautiful, the processor plenty fast for most any task. At this point in the evolution of the MacOS, 8 GB is really just a decent start for the modern computing experience. But if you are trying to decide between a 22" and 27" iMac, keep in mind that the 22" is not consumer upgradeable for RAM, whereas this 27" model has four upgradeable slots with two empty. Two empty means that when you are ready, you can just add memory keeping the two existing 4 GB chips. Thunderbolt 2

i love it. in the first few days it was super hard to get to know how to accostume to this size and brightness. after working with 13" macbook that was a big change. The thing that changed that from frustration to celebration was to put the screen farther. in my office i have the possibility to do that. once i did that, i was enjoying it so much. it is great for my graphic work and what i like most is that i can have a few applications or windows open on the screen on the same time since the screen is so big. i also needed to adjust the bigger size of everything and now i am inlove with this mac. i bought an open box and it came like new.

Screen is amazing to edit photos. My wife uses it to edit her photos since she is a photographer and it is absolutely amazing. The computer is fast and reliable.

This is hands down ONE OF THE BEST machines I've ever used. I love everything about this computer. I can seamlessly navigate between Adobe Photoshop CC as well as Lightroom all while running both apps simultaneously and the computer doesn't have a single issue handling that. I've upgraded from a MacBook Pro, and this Blows it out of the water. Though this computer is a bit pricey it's totally worth it!

Actually the monitor is a 5k monitor and provides an exceptional quality picture for any application. The Apple computer provides characteristic simplicity and ease of use.

Purchased this computer at Beaumont location. Was told all the pros and cons of this and other computers by very knowledgeable employee. Awesome display and ease of use.

I am sometimes hesitant on spending on expensive technology because they change so fast that within months there is usually a "newer/ better" version of everything. For my needs this is definitely by far the best computer there was in the market and I feel like I can rely on its performance not for 6 months... But for a good couple of years. It is fast, super big display to do many things at the same time. The only thing I did not care for was the keybord, since it lacks the extra numbers to the right that allow fast typing numbers, I had it replace for one that does. Other than that I absolutely love it!

I made the jump to apple 8 years ago and have never regretted it! My previous iMAC lasted 8 years and the day it died it was running about 90% as fast as the day I got it. I recommend apple over PC any day. I have to use PC's at work and they are slow, get bogged down easily, and constantly freeze and require rebooting. To be honest, I think the large majority of the people reading this review won't actually use the majority of the features of this machine and probably can't tell the difference between retina and non-retina display (myself included). However, since it was such a long term purchase I went for the bells and whistles. I did appreciate the salesman in the BB store who actually talked me down from the most expensive model. He asked me what my needs were and he said that I was buying too much machine. In retrospect, I totally agree.

We upgraded from an old PC. Packaging was neat very different than what we've seen previously. Very easy to install. The 3.2 GHz is awesome for a family of five that works just fine with streaming music and doing projects at the same time. When importing pictures from an iPhone or iPad it imports very quickly I love it. The 27.5 inch state of the art monitor looks awesome in the office the monitor so huge the visuals are great. Love the cordless keyboard and mouse very easy to use and navigate. The one terabyte memory is awesome for family of our size the representatives at Apple explained that at one terabyte is plenty for what my family's doing on the computer at this time. They also explained that we are able to upgrade to more memory space if needed later. This computer allows you to have upgrades just like any Apple devices iPad or iPhone. It also has more apps preset in this computer that work great. Also, each family member can setup their own Apple ID to help separate work from others. Our teens love the technology and thoroughly satisfied!

I've always had Apple computers, and the 27 iMac with Retina 5K display is fast, smart, and easy to use. It's maybe a bit pricey, but I know it will last.
