The screen is large & clear, the computer is fast, and I can figure out most things easily.... user friendly. However, there are a couple things I do NOT like about this computer and that is why I only gave it a 4 star. First and foremost, the scroll bar on the right does not work well at all. I have to get my curser just right over it to bring it down at all. And it's a very NARROW margin. Unfortunately, that doesn't always work. It's difficult at times, and tricky. Hopefully this is something that can be resolved because it can be a real pain. 2nd, the keyboard is very small so I frequently have my fingers on the wrong keys and have to watch & correct that frequently. Also, no backspace key. Will definitely search for a new keyboard. But overall... like this computer VERY much.

After a series of incredibly frustrating hardware and software issues with HP and Dell machines and Windows 10, in somewhat of a fit of passion, I pulled the trigger on this beautiful machine. It's my first Mac since a Powerbook 165c I owned in the early 1990s (and which cost about twice as much as this at the time). I un-boxed the iMac, plugged it in, and it worked. I set up an account for my wife and it seamlessly integrated into the Apple ecosystem of her iPhone and iPad. No problem installing one of our 5 MS Office 365 Home licenses on it (it turns out the 5 seats can be a mix of Win and Mac machines). The 5K screen is almost as sharp as looking out a window. The built in speakers sound better than I expected given the shallow body of the machine. I had played with the non-Fusion drive model before this and realized the small price difference was worth the extra bit of performance. There are some things to get used to in transitioning back from Windows, but honestly with all there is to learn with the changes in Win10 anyway, I don't consider it a big deal. And I haven't completely escaped glitches - the Mac has still frozen up a couple times in the first month of owning it forcing a hard reboot. All the USB ports are on the back which makes them a bit awkward to use. The giant screen is not touch enabled. Bottom line: a Windows all-in-one with most of these specs plus a touch screen may cost half as much as the iMac. However, the stability of the system is worth a lot too - much less time spent acting as family system administrator trying to troubleshoot "now what's wrong" with the PC. The unequaled 5K screen is a differentiator if that's important to you. And if you are an iPhone user, don't underestimate the value of running a "all Apple" technology and having messages, photos, even calls transition from device to device as you like. I didn't realize what we were missing until I saw it in action.

My first iMac and its a great fit on the desk in my kitchen. The screen is large and clear. It's easy to work with.

I went to the iPhone earlier this year from Android, loved it, then got an iPad, love it too. So sick of Microsoft products, my PC was 4 years old, so when I saw the sale, I was sold. Got it home, very easy setup. I'm still learning but so far I am quite amazed. Yes they cost more, but they last longer so I think it's a wash when you consider that aspect. Pros : beautiful screen, all software you need is included unless you need Office for windows compatible files. Slim design with everything built in, Bluetooth mouse and keyboard keep your USB ports freed up. No wires needed other than power, unless you go with and external cd/DVD drive or if you prefer a different keyboard. Cons: Price up front, but with life of product a wash. Keyboard doesn't have a number pad (unless you order directly from Apple) and not very ergonomic (could use legs to tilt it) But you can buy the Apple keyboard that has a number pad and is connected via USB which has the tilt caused by 2 USB ports underneath for $49.99. Totally worth it. Mouse takes some getting used to as does the layout/design if you are used to Windows. I'm a total Apple convert, too many positives to list with having all Apple products and how they share with each other. Best purchase decision.

Absolutely the best all in one desktop out there. Incredibly vibrant display with clarity that is almost unbelievable. I compared the Mac to many other all in one desktops and the MAC by far is the better choice because of the faster processor and resolution of the monitor. However, Mac is more expensive but it is well worth the extra cost. Overall quality is superb.

Our first Mac. Beautiful display, great speed. I haven't even touched the surface of all it is able to do. I would highly recommend this computer.

Bought my wife a new Macbook. Decided to upgrade my office desktop to 21 inch iMac. Used the 27 inch 5k in-store and was instantly sold. Definitely worth the extra cost as compared to the 21 inch if you plan on keeping. A lot of screen real estate to work with two windows open at once. Loaded Parallels with Windows 10 so I have best of both worlds. Screen is gorgeous.

I used Geek Squad to max out the RAM on an already fast working Mac. The smooth quick response to work on different files blows My old i-mac away. The high res. screen must be experienced first hand. It's great for photo editing and watching TV or video. "Once you go Mac you won't go back".

I've never succumbed to the apple computer bug before now but I couldn't resist the sleek design, fabulous monitor and great speed and storage

We love Apple products in our home and this computer doesn't disappoint! Fast, reliable and stays smoothly running no matter how many processes we have running at one time. If you are coming from Windows OS, it just takes a small period of getting used to but once you do... in my opinion... You will never look back. In addition, if you think you need more piece of mind AppleCare at $169 for 3 years of protection is great to have.

So far everything is great. Just open the box and turn on and your computer is ready. Also the screen is awesome and the speed is very fast.

This is the best computer I have ever used. Speed, Display and user friendly to install any program. I will recommend it for work or home.

This computer starts up quickly. The display has great color and resolution. The 27 inch screen fits my work space and is easy to read. This imac replaced an older model with a 21 inch screen. Apple has certainly improved the imac. File transfer from the old computer was very simple. Really not much to do to completely set up the new computer.

This is my umpteenth Mac, so I knew what to expect. But the screen is great, and the beast is really fast. Very pleased so far.

It is very easy to use and with the large screen its easy to read and the small key board doesn't take much room on the desk

Purchased this for the processor and display upgrade,...installed from time capsule backup and were up in running in no time.
