im an apple guy, and this apple iMac 27 inch with fusion drive combines all my apple products into 1 fantastic view. the 27 inch 5k screen does for my photos what a dslr did for cameras. it took them to a whole other world. i can see minute details on my photos i never knew were there. also the fusion drive proceses my terabyte of photos quickly and efficiently. all the processing on very large raw files are handled with ease and look fantastic.

...I recently edited a short film on my PC using Premiere, and had some glitches that I simply could NOT resolve, even after days of frustrating attempts. Realising the limitations of the software, it became clear that I had to step up to a professional platform and software, so I invested in the iMac 27" with Retina 5K computer, and also Final Cut Pro X for the editing. The Mac has a beautiful display, and works very smoothly with the software provided. However, I want to edit in 4K, so found adding an additional 16Gb of ram necessary for quick playback and refresh. Working on this machine is easy and enjoyable, and I am quite glad I took the plunge!

You can't beat the image quality of the 5k screen. Fusion drive is fast but 100% SSD is faster but too expensive.

I have owned Macs all of my life. I had recently changed careers and no longer needed my MacPro Cylinder. I never took the iMac line seriously, but I have really come to love this computer. It's screen is outstanding. It is no slouch either. It is everything I could ask for in a computer.

Apple has a stellar product with this iMac 27" all-in-one desk top computer. We truly treat it like a work of art, stunning clarity and very productive features. Apple's quality really stands out in this well verst device!

I have used Windowsfor many years and find the IMac to be a much better choice. It is easy to use and many more options. Mac support is much better than HP ever was. They spend whatever time it takes until you understand.

I am so amazed at how user friendly this Mac is. After 3 windows PC crashes I decided to make the leap over to Apple. So happy that I did. Always boots right up and is actually fun to work on. Thank you Best Buy for recommending this to me as my home computer!!

This machine is absolutely amazing and state of the art. Aside from it looking like a stallion in my study room, it outperforms any machine I have ever used in my life. My wife, who is a MAC hater, has secretly started going into the study room for unknown reasons and low and behold she is using a MAC now. Of course her reasoning is because her vision is horrible and the massive screen helps her see better, but I think it's because she has a crush on the Machine itself. LoL! The processor is absolutely as speedy as it gets and the 5K retina screen is amazing! Must buy if you're willing to fork over your wallet :-)

This is by far the best computer I have ever owned. The boot-up is ridiculously fast with the Fusion drive. I'm still kicking myself for waiting so long to get this machine. Gone are the days of waiting minutes for boot-up. Now it's literally seconds - as in less than 10. The speed is phenomenal. I need to keep using Windows from time to time, so with this machine that is no problem. I bought Parallels and a license for Windows10 and can run Windows apps side by side with OS X apps in the Finder. Amazing!! The screen is beautiful. The mouse and keyboard are awesome. This should be your next computer.

I had an iMac 24" from 2009 and decided to buy a new one. I decided on the 27" iMac and love it. The fusion drive makes it so fast and meets all the needs I have for video editing and general use. It comes with many preloaded programs and Siri makes it that much better. It links up seemlessly with my iPhone and iPad when using the sharing features. Well built and the 5k retina screen is beautiful. It does not have a CD drive but I bought one because I still use CDs. The mouse and keyboard are wireless so no clutter of wires and the charge on each last for weeks. It's just the best of the best!

Absolutely love this iMac. The 5K display is amazing! Computer moves with a quickness and is easy to setup and use. I wouldn't have it any other way!

I love Apple computers and this is coming from a Windows Desktop support engineer. I spend all day (12 hours) with windows computers and users. When I come home, I do not desire to wrestle with never ending patches and numerous reboots just to logon to my computer. The answer? Apple computer!! No matter what you say your argument is, there is no greater hassle free OS than Apple OS.

The price of 4K monitors are finally dropping, but 5K has 67% more pixels and when it comes to editing photos and videos, that extra space is a welcome luxury. We're talking about a screen that can show a 14.7 Megapixel photo, without zooming. That's simply amazing.

The iMac seemed to want to set up with only minor participation from me, which was fine but sure left a lot of questions afterwords. Lack of a manual, there are quite a few things "not available" in the online help. It is also quite annoying to have to enter my password every time I click the mouse it seems. The monitor is quite clear, and I am hoping with time I will come to appreciate it. I do like the connectivity of my iPad and iPhone with the iMac. I don't understand why the iMessage doesn't work the same as the iPad or iPhone.

I love this iMac. It's thin it's big and it has a beautiful picture. Everything works like an Apple product. Like Steve Jobs said."It Just Works!" I have always been happy with my Apple products From the first iPod (which I am still using) To my new 27" screen mac.

I love nearly everything about this Mac. The screen is huge. The view is crisp. The mouse is great. It's a fast machine especially if you give it enough RAM. I love that it has four RAM slots. I would buy again in a heartbeat, I just wish the downsides I list below were addressed. The only downsides, and most of these are small. * iMac's have no VIDEO INPUT. So you cannot play your PS4 on the screen, etc. * The graphics card in this machine is "OK". But you won't be playing more than 1080p in games, probably (at best). * The keyboard is good, but the key travel is kind of short and the arrow keys are SMALL. They work but they could be better. My Macbook Air and Macbook Pro both have better keyboards, IMO.

I love the size of the monitor and the speed of the computer. I still have issues with Safari crashing, but overall I love this Mac.

I have had Apple computers for at least the past 10 years and have always had a good experience. This computer is another example of the quality found in Apple products. Good system speed, a large monitor and excellent screen resolution.

I had been considering replacing my 7 year old iMac with a Mac Mini. A friend of mine decided on this 27" iMac. Neither of us made our purchases. I saw that it was on sale for $300 less. That convinced both me & my friend to get one. This iMac has the Fusion drive which makes a big difference when you start up. The large screen is very impressive. Any other specifics look on Best Buy's website. Order a SuperDrive-DVD drives no longer included. It's an iMac. It's just works beautifully. I'm so glad I went with BestBuy for my purchase. I had mine delivered with no problems.
