Perfect computer for kids and work

A very happy upgrade!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from a 9 year old 23" iMac to the Big Boy 27" Superfast, Gorgeous 5K screen and couldn't be happier. I've been a Mac guy for 25 years and have had mostly iMacs and this one is the best so far. Our town has recently made a very fast Fiber Optic service available and it showed how slow my old Mac was. The new one is ridiculous how quick everything loads and performs. It is overkill for most of my needs but it is nice to know it can handle whatever I want to try.

Great Computer

Brought it back to Apple and they replaced it without a problem though. Hopefully it was just an isolated thing. Other than that, I love the machine, the retina screen is beautiful it has a very fast start up and plenty of room with the 2 tb drive. I just wish that Best Buy would sell the 3tb one that seems to be only at Apple.

Easy to use and has a huge screen.

Excellent Computer

Since I grew up on Mac, it has been my computer of choice before they truly hit the mainstream. A great machine with some subtle changes for the better. This replaced a 5 year old iMac 27 and adding RAM is now a simple task. Stick to the 8GB version, purchase some additional RAM and you will have a machine that will last you for the foreseeable future.

Supper Fast - Excellent Screen

I would have gotten faster ram, a slightly faster processor, and more video RAM for the same price now. I got to use the system for almost 2 months before the new ones came out. Probably should have tried to take it back on gotten the upgraded version. Get the new one and you will be more then happy.
