The adapter is needed to recharge the Mac, along with a power cord , which is sold separately. These two items are charging the computer quite nicely.

My standard charger took the iPad 3 hrs to charge from 29 to 100 percent with the 29watt it now takes 1 hr. but make sure u get the USBC wire not USBc to USB

We use this at home when we want our apple devices charged fast. It does a great job charging iPhones and specially the iPad pro 12'. Totally recommend it.

I bought this Apple 29W charger to be able to "fast charge my iPad Pro. It really cuts the time significantly compared to the charger that came with the iPad.

Use this for my MacBook and also for charging my other Apple products. Charges my iPhone at a quicker rate than my regular iPhone charger.

I’ve had iPhones since the 3GS came out in 2008 and I still can’t get my phone charged any faster until now. This Apple 29 W USB-C power adapter is what you want. Two(2) times faster than the twelve watt adapter and six (6) faster than the 5 watt adapter that comes with the phone. It works with the Apple 3.3’USB type C lightning charging cable. This only works for the new iPhone X and iPhone Pro “ONLY”. This isn’t recommend for no other iPhone device. The battery will explode or burn up. But it works like a charm with these two devices.

This is the best solution for quick charging for the iPhone but most importantly and iPad. Cuts charging time on mines in half!

I use this with a secondary USB-C power cord so I no longer have to bring my cord home from work (not that you have to charge the new MacBook very often!).

This adapter is a must if you own a 12.9 inch iPad Pro. The included 12W adapter is rated at 5 hrs to fully charge the tablet. The 29W adapter when used with a USB-C cable "fast"charges the tablet in half the time. I have not had any problems with overheating or damage to the tablet. I have two of these adapters and they are a dream! I would also recommend getting a pencil charging cable to charge the Apple Pencil to avoid the somewhat unartful method of sticking the pencil directly into the tablet to charge it possibly damaging the pencil or the tablet in the process.

I was looking for cheaper options but nothing came close to use this! I did use a cheaper usb c to lighting cable though. Does the job!

charged my ipad pro in about a 1 1/2 hours using 29W adapter and USB-C to Lightning cable compared to the charger it came with which took 6 hours love it

The 29W Apple type-c Wall outlet has been so good, and I love that it charges the iPad quickly, provided you get a 3rd party usb-c to lightning adapter.

Lightning to type C charger is great I would recommend it to anybody that has a iPhone that’s Supports fast charging

Bought specifically to decrease the amount of time to charge an IPhone 8. Takes less than 15 minutes to charge phone. Would recommend.
