It does what it is supposed to do and with the lack of 3rd party options at a much lower price, it is one of the few options for fast charging the iPhone 8 or the iPad Pro models. I knock it one star because it should come in the box given how much iPad Pros and iPhones cost. C’mon Apple.

Although this product works great and charges fast-charging devices well, it is yet another way too expensive Apple product. It is also frustrating that you have to purchase this along with a $20-$30 USB-C to lightning cable just to get fast charging for your new iPhone. That's annoying. Even with those things in mind I would still have to recommend this product because it does what it is intended to do and it does it well.

The Apple USB-C adapter for the Apple MacBook is excellent and provides a secondary/backup to my primary cable. I utilize one for travel and one in my home office so I am never without power.

This usb c charging plug is keeping my devices that have the usb c connection; starting to finally understand the backwards compatibility of USB cords and how with this plug it would drastically change my total wait time for them to charge. If you're willing to pay the extra buck for the new USB-c cords, go for it. For some that extra money spent can be equally as important as time you will gain from the speed and efficacy of this plug

I like this adapter cuz it charges iphone fast but its expensive.

Sure I like the quick 30min boost as the A11 chip phones (and A10X iPad Pro 2nd Gen) can take advantage of a PD (Power Delivery Profile) of 14.5V/2A=29W other devices don't have and charge 50% in about 30min if not more. Problem is even outside any case, you can FEEL the heat and heat is the biggest enemy of battery life. Meanwhile I discovered it only is 12% faster than getting a $19 12W iPad charging block which I agree, is what SHOULD be included in these "phablet" sized phones like the iPhone 8 Plus I use this block for. Unfortunately I fell for the hype after already owning (2) 12W blocks for my iPhone 6 Plus and had sprung for the nice 2m Lightining to USB A cord vs. the 1m 3.3ft ones that never reach your nightstand that come with your iPhone. Save you money unless you want to have it as a backup for a Thunderbolt 3 Macbook Pro 2016-2018 (or borrow from your 2018 Mac Book Air). You'll have to shut down your MBP laptop to charge up a normally 61W or 87W laptop, but even the Anker PD and other 20,000mah juice packs only deliver 22W-45W PD and are safe to use, but same issue. They are not going to RUN a 15" MBP CPU with a 45W TDP, but you might sneak by with a 13"MBP 15W TDP. Just remember a 15" 2016-2018 MBP has a dedicated GPU that can kick in and use 35W by itself, so PD of 30W is useful, but more so as back up if your USB C 61W or 87W USB C block goes MIA. Least you can quick charge your iPhone 8/8+ or iPhone 10 and have a back up USB C laptop charger to mostly shut down a laptop and recharge the battery and use on battery until you find your 61W or 87W or get a new one? Otherwise save you money and treat yourself to a nice 6.6Ft (2m) Lightning to USB A cord and a 12W USB A $19 iPad brick and only loose 12% charging speed and also reduce the HEAT your phone battery will endure. It might actually make your battery last LONGER over the long run. Plus once at 80% the larger 29W block throttles back the PD profile anyway and you'll notice that last 20% takes significantly longer anyway. So spend $50 for a 29W block and $25 on a new 2m 6.6ft Lightning to USB C cord or spend $19 on a 12W iPad block and $25 on a 2m 6.6ft Lightning to USB A cable and save yourself $30 all over 12%. Like I said, only if you want a back up USB C laptop charger in a pinch, would I make that choice.

Our last charger was chewed up by our dog. We taped it back together for awhile, but this is much better. Works like the original pre-chew.

So I got the iPhone 8 Plus. This is required for fast charging (along with usb c to lightning cable). It’s a bummer that we have to pay $60+ to get the fast charge capability but it’s Apple and they do what they want!

Great apple quality! Works awesome. In my opinion it’s a lil pricey, but it can travel with me so I guess that makes it worth it.

Paired with the USBc/lighting cable gives you fast charging. Great product but Apple should included this with the pro models.

This is probably the best quick charger for Apple devices. I use it with my iPhone and iPad pro. 2x-3x times faster chagring!

I use it on my iphone 8 tried wireless charging was slow.Apple - 29W USB-C Power Adapter - White is ten times faster.

I bought this in order to fast charge my iPhone X. Works great. No need to pay more for the higher wattage adapters.

I have had other chargers and they all fail compared to the apple product. Don't waste your money on cheaper ones....buy the Apple

This makes fast charging available for iPhone 8 and iPhone X. Just wished it came with the purchase of the phone.

I bought this with a lightning charger for the iPhone X and fast charging is amazing I get 25% in about 20 min.

If you want a fast charger for your iPhone go for it , you have to buy also the Type C cord in order to use it.

I really recommend this charger if you own a iphone 8 or X it gives you a 50% charger in like 20min love it

It chargers the iPhone X so fast, even the iPad Pro 12.9. Love the charger. Excellent I highly Recomend it.
