It does charge a bit faster but in my opinion fir $50 it is not fast enough. Apple continues to be inferior to others when it cones to convenience and also accesories.

I bought a MacBook, and wanted an additional power cord when I traveled so I could leave my primary at home. It wasn't cheap, but I know it is not going to catch on fire or anything crazy like that, since it is from Apple. This is a top of the line dongle, for a top of the line laptop.

Get rid of all your old lighting cables and 12W Chargers... USB-C is the future. A must have to fast charge your iPhone X!!! MacBook and even MacBook Pro (at a slow steady rate). I've been up grading and up grading and it's one change in the Apple Eco system I don't regret.

Apple continues to make great products to compliment their iphones and ipads. I have always been pleased.

With this adapter and a usb-c to lighting cable it takes1 hour and 33 minutes for the 29W adapter to charge an iPad Pro from 0% to 80%; the 12W model would need 3.5 hours. As you can see the Ipad pro has quick charging built into the tablet if you use the 29W adapter. Well worth the price.

Charges my iPad pro while in use quicker then the 12watt and it charges my iPhone 6s Plus with the USB to lighting cable perfectly

I ordered this adapter as a spare for travel. I can now leave one at home and have another one in my backpack. I've had no issues with this adapter and would buy another one if needed. I do wish it included the cable but other than that I am happy with this purchase.

I use this charger to charge my 12inch ipad pro. Much better than using the standard chargerv that comes with the ipad pro. You do need a Usb-c to lightning adapter but i found it to be worth the cost. Using this I can fully charge my ipad pro in about 2 hours!

It's small, white and it charges. Unless you have a defective one there is not much to gripe about.

This was picked in error. Thought this would charge an Iphone or Ipad but it was the wrong base.

This is an official Apple product. I bought this hoping that the cube will charge my Iphone 5S and Iphone 7 very fast, and it does just that. It charges my phones much faster than the smaller cube. I love this cube and would buy another one if I had the chance.

I got this as an open box and it works as expected. I now use it on my iPhone

...you need this charger and the Apple USB-C to Lightening cable. The fast charge works on the 10.5" and 2015/2017 12.9" iPad Pro's - not the 9.7" iPad Pro model. Apple makes a quality product albeit at a premium price. The next gen iPhone will also feature fast charging so this item will be in very high demand! Highly recommend it.

I didn’t know about this particular charging option until after I’d purchased my new iPad Pro. Easily cuts charging time in half. Just wish Apple would get a grip and include this as the default charger, instead of making it a premium accessory.
