Apple product being apples products. Excellent but they don't last as you know.

Apple chargers are high quality; as with all of the cords, they were down at the connection point to the phone / iPad / etc.

The OEM cables are always the best idea. It is worth it to spend the money and get the correct cable and not the knock-offs
