    Best bet to not have the iPhone say an annoying screen notifications of the wrong cord is to just but there cord that’s been designed to wear out rather quickly. I buy a lot of apple products that come with lightening cords and I just bring the cords back to the apple store when they start to fall apart, usually after about a year! Lol Apple will warranty for 1 year!! That’s how much confidence that have in the life span of there premium lightening cord! But I still buy the junk because the cord has the best chance of not sending annoying notifications of being the wrong cord.

    Paid way too much for this cord...just to have it fray, crack or burn up in less than a year. Just like all the others that I have purchased. Insignia and Dynex brand cords last just as long, but at 1/3 the cost.

    Prior older USB cable was worn and loose fit. New cable fits tight and charges quicker.
