Apple devices need lightning cables and an extra helps keep everything charged and running. An Apple cable is your best bet.

Can't go wrong with the standard Lightning cable from Apple. They are a bit more expensive than an off-brand but I find they always last longer and never give the annoying "incompatible" message. Always a good buy.

I bought this cable on sale after going through many cheaper ones. Setup was easy and it worked out of the box without calling tech support. As promised, it was white. I didn't take the time to measure it, but I'm pretty sure it was 3.3 feet. When I plugged it into a charger and my phone, a green light went on. After searching through the internet I realized it was charging. Listen, Best Buy is giving me 25 points for this review so I think I should give them their money's worth.

Recently purchased several cords for family members. Apple cords are far above any competitor cord. Always works...unless my kids break the cord at the dock. Wish there was something apple would do to make them last longer

Purchased this cable for the original that came with the phone stopped working after 2 years. Tried an after market cord which after 2 weeks wouldn’t work My purchase of a Apple Lightning cable was the best thing I could have done. Always purchase the products original accessories After market brands can lead to poor efficiency and wasted money.

The Real Deal works the best, and it’s the only one I’ll buy now! Needed a new short cable for the car, the old one was one that came with my iPhone 5 many years back, still works but the white sheath has come off near the input, so I only use as a backup at work. I’ve tried many (non-Apple) cords, both name brand & cheapies, also “certified”, each one worked for anywhere from 1 to 2 months max, then got the error stating it was not compatible.

Apple brand seems to last longer than off brands. The Apple cable gives the quickest charge to the iPhone.
