Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the quality, USB Type-C connector, compatibility with their devices, and ease of use of the 3.3' USB Type-C to Lightning Charging Cable. Many appreciate its functionality with newer Macs and other lightning devices. A few users expressed concerns about the potential impact of fast charging on battery longevity. However, the positive feedback on its performance and convenience outweighs these concerns.

I didn’t know usb c fitting on charger that plugs into the wall was different on the non lightning side. I like my phone charges up in less than 30 minutes. My iphone 8 never goes below 50 percent so it goes up to 100 in about a half an hour. I can use it to charge up all my apple stuff really fast. Pricey though. But I can afford it. I really wish this had a spell checker.

    Great Cable for Fast Charging!!

I'm using this cable for fast charging on my iPhone X. You have to use this with the USB C 29W charging block in order to get fast charging capabilities. You can also use this on the new MacBooks and MacBook Pros to charge your phone or sync with iTunes. Only complaint is Apple shorts you on the length and the price is always ridiculous with the products.

Apple charging cables are notorious for completely dissolving after a couple of months of use. I noticed that this cable is decently thicker than regular models. So far this cable is holding up pretty well. They fast charging capabilities work with any USB-C power delivery charger. At the price though... it really should be about $5 less even considering apple tax

I love this cable for fast charging for my iPhone X. I have a huge 87watt brick that I hook this cable up to and get fast charging speeds. No issues on wondering if it’s Apple compatible because it is an direct in house Apple product. I do wish that it wasn’t so expensive and that it was 6ft instead of 3ft. I actually purchased 2 of these cables, one for the house and the other for the car. Fast charging all over. I love it. Definitely would buy more just to have. Especially when I get Bestbuy reward points.

This cable definitely shows better quality build then the cables included with the iPhone or iPad. It is thicker and feels much more durable. It can be used for charging a macbook or fast charging the new iPhone 8, 8 plus, or X. The only complaint I can think of is the cost.

You need this cable (along with the Apple 29W USB-C power adapter) if you want to take advantage of the rapid charge feature built into the new iPhone X. Apple claims that you can charge to 50% in 30 minutes. My personal experience was somewhat better, charging from 0% to 100% in just over 45 mins. I can't help but wonder if repeatedly fast charging your phone might affect battery life, but it's great to know that there's a quick fix if you forget to charge your phone and find the battery flat. Apple actually makes two versions of this cable (1m and 2m) and the minimal difference in price makes the longer one far better value for money. Unfortunately, Best Buy only stocks the shorter one. Tip for the top: I spent ages looking for the cable in my local store... it turned out it was not in the Apple section as I expected, but in Mobile Electronics (where they sell phones).

The cable is thick and durable and gets the job done. If you need fast charging on your iPhone 8 models or the iPhone X then go ahead and pick this up with the 29watt C adapter and enjoy super fast charging speed. It does exactly what Apple promises. I get about 50% charge in about 25 minutes. That’s excellent! My only complaints are the cable could be a little longer and it’s a bit pricey! I do feel like it’s worth the price though to charge your phone from dead to 50% in only 25 minutes.

The KEY to unlocking iPhone X Fast-Charging

The cable does what it’s meant to do. But, where this cable “truly” shines is it’s ability to fast charge your iPhone X (Also, iPhone 8/8 Plus). Please note that the cable itself won’t unlock fast-charging capabilities, you’ll need to purchase an Apple USB-C power adapter or one like it. Personally, I use my MacBook Pros 61w power adapter & I can get close to a 50% charge in around 30min. That is an awesome thing!

The usb c to lighting cable works. Nothing special about it. It jst sucks that it’s pretty expensive and the cable isn’t really made well. Anyone that has regular lighting cables Will know these cables always start splitting by the connectors. But if you want fast charging for ur Apple products this cable will do its job but I jst don’t c the cable lasting to long.

Please note that a corresponding USB-C charger is also required. I love that I can now quick charge my iOS device with this cable. Both of these items should have been included in the box. This seems like a cash grab from Apple in order to gain full functionality of an already expensive iOS device. Nearly every manufacturer includes the quick charging power accessories with their devices. Why doesn't Apple?

Like most things Apple, this cable is incredibly overpriced, but it works perfectly for fast charging an iPad Pro or iPhone eight. Seeing how it’s the only manufacture that can do this right now, you really don’t have a choice, pay the Apple tax LOL

This cable works perfect with any USB-C charger. I have had no issues with it. It bends and does not break anywhere and seems more sturdy than other cables I have purchased in the past. If you are looking for a cable, this is the one for you.

I was going to pick this up at some point, since I picked up the MacBook Pro with Touch Bar earlier this year and wanted to free up one of my two USB-C to USB-A adapters. I have three active iOS devices, so I didn't want to have to use a dongle each time I wanted to do a wired sync. Then to find out that this cable, along with a compatible power adapter, would be required for fast charging my soon-to-arrive iPhone X, that was the tipping point for me. Unfortunately, all Best Buy stores near me were out of new units of both the 1m and 2m cables, but I managed to find one with one 1m cable being sold "open box" at a discount. Took at while to find it in-store, but after having used it for a while, I love it. Once I can find another in-store, I'll pick up another for my other devices.

I bought this to connect my iPhone to my MacBook without the need for an adapter. These are Apple certified cables. You get what you pay for. They are much more durable the cheaper brands

    Fast charging for iPhone 8/8+/X

Pair this with the Apple 29W USB-C wall charger or any other 29W (or higher) USB-C wall charger that supports USB-C PD (Power Delivery) and you can charge your iPhone 8, 8+, or X with Fast Charging and this is the only way. The Fast Charging is actually incredibly fast and is noticeably faster than even a regular USB Lightning cable hooked up to a 2 Amp USB charger. I just wonder that if Fast Charging on a regular basis vs standard charging if this will degrade the battery over time. But when you need a fast charge this is the only way to go!

Finally! A way to charge iPad at higher than 12W!

When I got my 12" iPad Pro, I realized quickly that the included 10/12W charger was going to be underpowered for it. I also lamented the fact that carrying this device and my laptop (as with all previous iPad/MacBook combos) meant carrying two different charging formats with me in my (sometimes) small travel/commuter bag. This cable solves several things for me when traveling light on short trips with my MacBook Pro, iPad, and iPhone... I can carry one charging brick and charge any one of those three devices when needed based on switching between two cables! Anything that offers me convergence in any way as a frequent traveler is a plus for me. Bear in mind that only the 12" iPad Pro and 9.7" iPad Pro (as of early 2017) charge faster with this attached to a MacBook power adapter (whether the 29/45/87w models) - But that extra charging speed means a faster path to 100% for those devices and iPhones/earlier iPads can take advantage of 12w charging so they top up faster than usual too! I personally use this with the 87w brick from my MacBook Pro 15 (2016 model w/Touch Bar) and the iPad Pro charges very fast, and all three devices can be fully recharged in an evening in the hotel room and are ready for the next day! All with less weight and bulk in my satchel!
