I would highly recommend I just wish that it would have came with the AirPods Max like all the other headphones do.

I use it to go from my iPhone to the aux port in the glove compartment of my 2011 Mercedes GLK 350 so I can use Spotify. I don't have the navigation upgrade to be able to wirelessly synch music (only works for phone) so this was a cheap and easy fix. In order to get it to work, you plug it in, then choose CD. Pull the center console knob down/towards you and choose Aux. It'll save this for the next time you use it so you won't have to do it again. You can control the volume from the steering wheel, but you can't change songs from it - can only change them on your phone.

Only a few select lightning to 3.5 cords will work the AirPod Max to allow them to plug in. They need bidirectional communication which most manufacturers don’t advertise. I wasted money on cords that didn’t work. That said, the only reason I took off a point is because I wish the cord was longer since Apple made it is one of the only ones that will work.
