Apple 30 watt power adapter that we use for an apple Ipad air 2 works so much better than the off brand or lower watt adapter. If you have the older iPad air 2, then this charger will work great or as it indicates.

If you have the iPad Pro, Get. This. Adapter! It fast charges the Pro, and will also work with any other USB-C cord for charging everything but a MacBook Pro. Apple should include this with the Pro, rather than the one they currently do. Just an idea... Get this adapter!

Nice 30w charger. I bought these to begin to replace the 12w chargers I have been using since iPads and iPhones are migrating to a higher output charger. USB-C output connector which is annoying since ALL of my current cables have the regular USB connector. Still uses the standard duck-head AC adapters for international use, a plus. I believe the EU is mandating USB-C connectors starting next year on phones and the like, as a way of reducing electronic waste. I could argue it will just create more waste through obsolescence, but that’s not my fight. I expected the rest of the world will follow suit moving to USB-C. Charger gets a bit warmer than my 12w units, but not hot to the touch. Somehow there are two models for the same 30w charger, MY1W2AM/A is the older model and MW2G3AM/A for the newer version. Not sure what the differences are, perhaps just an updated design or different vendor. Size wise, the 30w is larger than the 12w, but not noticeably from a distance. The only con is the USB-C connector on the charger, but making connector changes is pretty much a trademark for Apple.

When it comes to Fast Charging my Apple devices I go with Apple accessories to ensure maximum compatibility. These charge adapters are built to last and I always use surge suppression to help protect my investments.

Don't even look at any of the other chargers for Iphone or IPAD products. This one is the fastest charger. You really can notice a difference on an older generation Iphone with a little tired battery.

I made sure to look up my model and purchase the same original charger for my laptop. It charges it lightning quick and I was happy that I was able to do an online order and pick it up via drive up same day. Not too bulky & lightweight.
