This 30W Apple adapter charges my iPhone and iPad much faster than regular chargers. It’s compact, doesn’t overheat, and works perfectly with my USB-C cable. I've had a few Macbook's over the years, and when it came to replace my '13 model 13" Macbook in Sept of '20 I was more than happy to also have a new Charger which came with. The charger was durable, sturdy, and always kept my MacBook charged whenever I needed. It's ease of mobility/travel is also nice. Nothing too bulky, or even ugly per-se. The device began to show signs of wear about 3.5 years into ownership of my computer. The prongs started to bend, and the seal in outlets and Powerstrips began to show age. Sometimes, the device would hang loosely in the outlets, and still hold charge. These parts seem to hold up, even over years of time and daily use/abuse.

This adapter is small, and the prongs fold in so that they do not get bent when not in use. I have used it for my computer, but also used it to charge an iPad, when I could not find the block for that. So it is versatile, easy to use and easy to store. It's also nice to have an extra, since I use my computer at work and at home.

Product is genuine due to the premium look of the packaging and the fonts used, which is typical of Apple. Purpose of this is to slowly charge my laptop. Battery will last longer due to less heat emitted when a slow charger is used.

Wanted a faster usb c charger, found an open box for almost the same price as an unopened 20w usb c. Can’t beat open box items.
