It charges everything from my Kindle to my MacBook Air! The USB-C connection on the side is a thing that should have been in place 20 years ago. It works great with outlets that have furniture pushed up against them!

Only potential problem is that despite the carbon-graphite cooling, it does get quite hot.

I kinda wish the port was on the back instead of the bottom so the cord isn’t in the way when using certain outlets. Having 40W makes you forget the little imperfections overall.

I wanted to kind of future proof my purchase by purchasing this adapter. I don't have any way of measuring Apples claims but it works good and the sale price was an added enticement.
