Have never had any problems with iTunes cards and most of my family especially the kids like to get them and they also come in handy when you didn't spend quite enough on other gifts.

Not the smoothest process, but you get your code. You have to verify your email, and a few minutes later it sends you your iTunes code. Once you click on it it’s supposed to redeem it automatically, but it doesn’t. I have to manually punch in my code, which makes it time consuming and inconvenient. Nevertheless, it’s better than going to the store and picking up a card.
