There is no substitute for a genuine Apple charging cable. This MagSafe cable quickly and easily connects to your computer. The cable is reinforced to prevent wear and damage. I highly recommend this cable and would buy it again!

This is the only cord that consistently works with my Mac Pro

On a positive note, this cable is identical to the one that came with my MacBook Pro, which is only about a month old. On a negative note, I had to replace the original cable within a month after a Roomba ate part of the original cable. Hence, the strength and durability of this cable are a little questionable. I now have to go out of my way to keep this cable away from the Roomba vacuums. I'm tempted to charge with USB-C. I'm not the biggest fan of the magnet connector because it disconnects too easily. I'm still giving it 4 stars because I'm glad a replacement was available.

It works great. Only issue is the fact that my original one died after 1 month of use and Apple refused to replace it. Having to purchase this after one month of use is certainly troubling. Not Best Buys issue at all but definitely a flaw in Apples warranty process.

There's no better way to charge a laptop than MagSafe! The cord attaches easily, magnetically. If the charging cord is pulled away, the connector disconnects. The cord is expensive but worth it to charge via MagSafe.

I have had this charger for just short of a year, about 10 months to be exact. It stopped working, started flashing orange and burning up so hot I couldnt touch it. Then started smelling like burning wires. I unplugged it immediately and stopped using it. Thats a fire waiting to happen. Im extremely disappointed in the quality especially because its less than a year old.

Needed a second mag safe cable for office. This fits the bill and is long enough for my standing desk. I always use oem power cables over cheap third party ones for peace of mind.
