    I upgraded from an Ipad Mini 2 due to Apple discontinuing support of the Mini 2 model. The performance is much improved with the mini 5 and also has the fingerprint reader which is nice. My only complaint is the battery life. My five year old Ipad Mini 2 battery lasts at least 30% longer than my new Ipad mini. I find I have to charge it every night instead of every other night. All of the settings are exactly the same. It was also more expensive to buy the 5 over the 2. I mostly use the ipad for streaming TV & music and also to read books using the Kindle App. I would recommend this iPad for anyone looking for a high quality and highly portable tablet .
