Since I keep one adapter in my laptop bag and one at home, each experiences half of normal usage. The cable charges the laptop quickly enough, but the design has its flaws.
For example, it is often difficult to keep the cable joined to the power brick. And the Magnetic DC Connector, which is the end that plugs into the laptop, is too easily dislodged. Meant to protect the laptop from being knocked to the ground if someone trips over the cord, the downside of the design is that the cord slips too easily from the laptop, sometimes unnoticed. The magnetic connection often is interrupted when I move the laptop left or right on the desk, for example. I have had to leave home with a partially charged device because the magnetic end had slipped its connection.
Which is one reason I keep a spare adapter in the laptop carrier.

A great charger made by apple. MagSafe2 is solid. The magnet is super strong but can be an issue if you have kids running about. Price was lretty steep for older Apple tech but we know how they are with their tech. Charges fast and reliable!

I needed a spare for my 2015 MacBook Pro 15" and it works perfectly. One for the house and one to keep in the laptop briefcase when I am trying to "edit on the fly".
A must have...

Needed a replacement quickly when my adapter failed in the middle of finals week - picked up a replacement same day. Product is as advertised. Performs as expected. Easy online purchase; easy drive-up pick-up. Pricing equal to online competitors. Thanks, Best Buy!

I received my “excellent” condition charger and it has dried blood on it and should not have been sold in the condition it was, it has been used more than your “excellent” standards with wear on the cord

The charger is decent, (although very expensive at over $80). Below are my initial impressions of the charger:
Pros
-comes with a wall outlet cable which is thicker and seems more durable than a default Apple charger;
-easy to to plug in and start using right out of the box
Cons
-Sometimes, it doesn't charge and requires ensuring that your Mac is on a flat surface or different angles before charging. (Unsure if this is a Mac issue or charger issue) as this is a replacement charger for original Mac charger which stopped charging.
-Price is quite expensive when compared to other chargers

OK, I know I shouldn't need to buy an additional power adapter for my MacBook Pro, when I have one that is working perfectly. Unfortunately, I packed for a trip, and after arriving realized I had forgotten to pack the power cord to the computer, and had only about 2 hours worth of power remaining on the computer's internal battery. Fortunately, Best Buy had one in stock. I was sure glad I could purchase a spare power cord, even though I thought it was very expensive.

The one, the only OEM charger out there that does the job. I don’t trust other off brand chargers for my Apple products. This charger ended up lasting me a couple years before I needed a new one.

At this point, I'm a die-hard Apple convert. Few brands do things as well as Apple in nearly every category. Their chargers (in general) are an exception to that rule. They're not made particularly well for long-term, everyday use. Invariably, they tend to break at the junction with the rubber-ish cord guards. There are several products out there that address this issue for iPhone cables, so this is clearly a known and common issue. Have to admit though, I wasn't expecting the same problem from an $80 laptop adaptor. My MacPro has a lot of life left in it after four and a half years, but the adaptor cable began to fray near the magnetic attachment about a year ago. Some electrical tape delayed the inevitable for a while, but it has continued to fray with time and continued use. Nonetheless, it's function is excellent. It charges the laptop quickly. Just wish it were made a little better. It's hard to drop almost a hundred bucks for the adaptor when you get one with the purchase of an entirely new unit. Then again, perhaps that's the point...

So I had to purchase yet another one of these after my puppy... once again... decided my charger would make a fabulous chew toy. I initially didn't want to put the money out for the charger (I know, I know) so I tried getting a generic charger off of Amazon. BIG mistake. I only had it for about a day and most of the time, it wouldn't light up to indicate it was charging. When it did indicate it was charging, the unit was getting so hot that I was concerned it was a fire hazard. I finally realized there is a reason why I paid so much for all my Apple products in the first place - quality and durability (minus the puppy teething aspect). Glad Best Buy has these on standby!
