Works as it should with my MacBook Pro and charges my MacBook pretty quickly.

Seems like a design flaw to make the plug so easy to disconnect from the body of the power adapter. If you pull the cube just slightly at an angle it will release the plug and leave it in the electrical outlet. I wonder how many of the plugs get left at Starbucks each year? Hmm...

Charger is large, but charging imac pro is fast. Pricey, but worth it.

While these apple products are expensive - there are really no other good USB C charging solutions on the market for the Mac Book models. Other solutions are under powered, or are not portable. This is compact, easy to transport, and has enough power to charge you while you work.

Apple upgraded the MacBook Pro and all of the ports use USB-c. Therefore you are required to get a new power adapter. One comes with the computer but I like to have a spare for travel between home And office. You also need the usb-c power cable to connect to this adapter.

When I boguht the new Macbook Pro I never thought that my charger would burn up. Well it did. For some reason it got so hot that it melted the USB-C cable. Anyways this left me with calling Apple to have it replaced. Apple was good about it and said they would send out a new one but I would not recive it until the next week because it was on a Friday. So I opted to get it from BestBuy. My local store did not have them in stock and I needed my laptp to work over the weekend so I drive to the next closest store. When doing so I was involed in a small care accadent and the guy who hit my mirror lost his temper and decided to have road rage and attact me. So the police had to be called and needless to say a trip for this power adapter turned out to be a very bag day. I ended up makign and getting the adapter. It's been flawless and has worked wonderfuly. Apple did end up sending the replacement so now I have two but to end a long story I should have just enjoyed my weekend rather then trying to work.

I have not found a power supply that works as well as an I AM Apple charger. This works great!

Nothing beats authentic equipment and having an extra adapter in my backpack is a plus. Now I don't worry if my battery is low and whether I remembered to bring a charger from home. Yeah it costs a little upfront but the price of not having connectivity is worse.

I'm an Apple fan, so you can't get me to say too much about them that's negative. Everything works better when everything is an approved attachment. I didn't need to replace this, just wanted a 2nd one to keep in my bag for when I go on road trips.

I purchased this for my on the go charger for my new MacBook Pro. I tested it out for a day and then put it in my laptop bag. It is a little expensive, but when you spend that kind of money on a laptop, you need to go with a power supply you can trust.

Hard to write a review of a power adapter, but I'll just say this works just like it should. I have this, and cables, in addition to the one that came with my new MacBook. Very handy.

Works great, until they don’t. this is the fourth one I have had to buy. For some reason over time the usb c cable no longer will seat in the charger. I guess it’s because they only cost $80 a piece. Sometimes I also like to use $100 bills as disposable straws.

As always, a solid product sold under Apple Brand. We replaced 85 Macbook Pro's with the newest model, and also purchased a spare charger for each MacBook so our users can leave one at home. My only gripe is, for the price, the USB-C cable should be included.

This apple power adapter allows me to use several different USB cords to charge any of my devices. From apple laptops, cell phones (iPhones and yes even androids), smart watches, iPads/tablets. Always charges 30% to 70% faster then any other power adapters.

This is typical Apple build quality - And its still compatible with Apple's extension cords and International "Duckheads" from all the way back in 2008. These new "Type-C" chargers follow the same basic design as Apple's MagSafe chargers did from 2008-onwards, but there are a few differences that keep these from being a "5-star" experience in my view: - The Charger no longer offers a cord management system to wind the cord up with the charger. This requires that the cord be wound up separately on its own and with no retaining clip, a third party solution to contain the cable is required to store the cable. - The USB Type-C cable separates from the charger. While this is wonderful from the perspective of being able to JUST replace the cable if damaged, and for storage reasons, this prevents certain wear/tear scenarios where the previous chargers had problems, its also problematic for loss risk and the fact that the charger pricing has not decreased and you will need to purchase an Apple USB Type-C Charging cable separately. All in all this is well constructed and works consistently. The 87w model charges the MacBook Pro 15 to spec, and charges my 12" MacBook Retina extremely fast. Good product with some questionable design changes that drive up the total cost.

I bought this as a permanent charger for home. It’s big and heavy but for my purposes it’s perfect. Make sure you have an USB cable capable of delivering at least 87w. I bought the Apple one and it works perfect with my MBP19.
