With a cheap pair that I purchased from Amazon, phone conversations were not clear and they didn't pick up the speech immediately. The sound quality on these are excellent for talking on the telephone and listening to music! I just wish that it had a little more robust case, or wish that it came with a tether.

Doesn’t fall out of his ears either.

Excellent Upgrade from Previous generation

The gen 2 upgrade is incredible. The sound quality is noticeably better and the bass is much more prominent. I do feel that the batter goes down a bit faster in the case as I'm re-charging it more frequently. The AirPods themselves last just as long or longer though. Overall, definitely worth the upgrade.

The only downside is no active noise cancellation, sadly earbuds with rubber tips hurt my ears after a while but I prefer no ANC over my ears hurting. Spatial audio and comfort of wearing for long periods of times make them worth the buy.

Okay, Not Great

However, the case holds the charge so it is easy to recharge the buds rather quickly. I also do not find these as comfortable in my ear. They do the job.
