I picked up the new AirPods 4 before a recent international trip, and they ended up being one of the most useful things I packed. The sound quality is a huge improvement, especially the noise cancellation — it blocked out plane noise way better than I expected. Super comfortable too, even after wearing them for hours. One thing that really surprised me was how well they worked with Apple’s Live Translate feature. I used them during my trip, and it felt almost like having a real-time interpreter. Conversations were much easier, and it made navigating restaurants, tours, and taxis way less stressful. If you travel at all, this feature alone makes these worth it. Battery life was great, the case is compact, and the connection to my iPhone and Mac is instant as always. Overall, AirPods 4 are a fantastic upgrade — great sound, great noise canceling, and actually super helpful in real-world situations when traveling abroad.

I recently purchased the Apple AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation from Best Buy on July 16, 2025, and they have completely exceeded my expectations. As someone who uses earbuds daily for work, travel, and workouts, I can confidently say these are the best I’ve owned so far. Sound Quality: The sound is rich, crisp, and well-balanced. The bass is punchy without being overwhelming, and vocals are incredibly clear. Whether I’m listening to music, podcasts, or taking calls, the quality is top-notch. Active Noise Cancellation: The noise cancellation is impressive. It blocks out background noise even in noisy environments like subways or busy cafés. It’s a game-changer for concentration and relaxation. Comfort & Fit: They fit perfectly in my ears and stay in place even during runs. They’re lightweight and comfortable for long hours – I’ve worn them for 4-5 hours without any discomfort. Features & Compatibility: The pairing with my iPhone was instant and seamless. The touch controls are intuitive, and I love the new adaptive transparency mode. It feels like Apple really listened to user feedback with this generation. Battery Life: Excellent battery life! I get almost 6 hours of continuous use, and the case gives multiple charges. The fast charging feature is also a big plus. Conclusion: These AirPods 4 have redefined what wireless earbuds should be. I’ve been using the Apple AirPods 3s for a month now, and overall, I’ve had a really positive experience. The sound quality is noticeably clearer compared to the previous versions, with richer bass and more balanced mids and highs. I especially like the spatial audio feature—it makes music and movies feel more immersive. The fit is also better for me compared to the AirPods 2, since the shorter stem and contoured design feel more secure in my ears without being uncomfortable. Battery life has been solid, usually lasting me around 5–6 hours per charge, and the charging case tops them up quickly. I also like how seamlessly they connect to all my Apple devices—the automatic switching between my iPhone and iPad is super convenient. The only downside for me is that they don’t have active noise cancellation like the AirPods Pro. They do block some background sound just from the fit, but if you’re in a really noisy environment, you’ll still hear outside noise.

These headphones exceeded my expectations. The vacuum audio is amazing, it feels like being in your own world, with a clean and immersive sound. The bass and treble are very well balanced and the noise cancellation really makes the difference. The comfort is excellent even in prolonged use, and the connection with the iPhone is instant and without problems. Although the price is high, the experience is totally worth it. Amazing Noise Cancellation! The AirPods 4 are seriously impressive. The noise cancellation blocks out almost everything — perfect for commuting, studying, or just relaxing. The sound is crisp, with deep bass and clear vocals, and they’re super comfortable to wear for long periods. Battery life is great too. Definitely worth it!

Absolutely they are very worth it they have very great audio quality (tested with Apple Music, Tidal, Spotify) if you want the best sound quality and best surround sound (Dolby Atmos) use Apple Music or Tidal spotify quality isnt showing the AirPods full potential they last pretty long and the ANC isn’t like the AirPods Pro 2 but it’s still great for everyday use and flights also they are very easy to find if you lose them because the tracking is amazing it doesn’t have precision finding like AirPods Pro 2 but its very easy to find with playing a sound because the new speakers but the real question is AirPods 4 ANC or AirPods Pro 2? Well it depends on comfort and sound quality also ANC the ANC on the pros is 2 times better but still great on the 4s the comfort is the AirPods 4 the acoustic sounding is the best on the AirPods Pro but remember the AirPods 4 still have amazing sound quality the AirPods 4 ANC and Pros are currently same price so i would recommend both but it depends on which you want! (Owner since OCT 3)

My full on detailed review after 3 days of use. Okay, first things first, ANC is solid for what the buds are and without the eartip. It has no issues knocking an aircon out of the room or the buzzing of a refrigerator. Positives: This may be apples SMALLEST available package of any electronics. The case itself is probably the smallest case ever released onto the open market, which makes it easily portably in a bag, a pocket, or a purse. This is also in my opinion, the BEST case on the market for these reasons. These buds are COMFORTABLE so long as they fit. I had my girlfriend try these and she said they weren’t great, but I can happily wear these for their entire battery life with no ear fatigue. Finally, these have the best transparency mode of any buds I’ve ever tried (I’ve owned 8 or 9 wireless buds at this point in my life) and it honestly feels like I’m not wearing anything. Negatives: For what these buds are, they’re overpriced for sure. These should be about $150 max. The buds themselves only have 4 hour battery lives, which means if you’re someone who wears buds at work or some other public environment, you’re gonna have to charge em at some point. ANC isn’t great, if you’re in a noisy area, you’re gonna have to turn your music or media up quite a lot to actually drown the noise out. This IS to be expected but it’s still a bit of a downside (still the best “open ear” ANC on the market though). Overall I’d give these an 8/10. They sound pretty good as all airpods have, they’re well built, and they provide a strong package. Personally, I like them more than the AirPods Pro 2 but these are overpriced. If you’re debating on these or the pros 2 and don’t care about price, get the Pros 2, but if you’re looking for a good set of buds WITH AN APPLE DEVICE while also trying to save a buck, these are a great choice. It blocks out most background noise effectively, but there’s still a bit of room for improvement. The Transparency Mode is also very useful for staying aware of your surroundings without having to remove the earbuds. The charging case is fantastic! The battery lasts up to 10 hours of continuous use, which is great for a full day of listening. The case provides several additional charges, making it perfect for long trips. I also want to highlight the build quality. The plastic feels sturdy and premium, and the sleek design looks great. They fit comfortably in my ears and stay in place even during long listening sessions. I highly recommend the AirPods Pro 2 to anyone who loves great sound and convenience!

It won’t reach AirPods Pro levels, but it noticeably cuts down ambient chatter and café noise. Adaptive Audio and Conversation Awareness are great touches that automatically adjust sound based on surroundings, something I missed on the regular version. Battery life is the main trade-off: about four hours with ANC on versus around five on the non-ANC model. Still, the wireless charging case with a built-in speaker and Find My support adds convenience. If you mostly listen at home or in quiet places, the standard AirPods 4 are still excellent. great headphones, connect seamlessly to my iphone and have great sound quality and good noise cancellation. im very pleased with my purchase.

I bought these so i can handle my business calls hands free throughout the day. They have an amazing sound and dont hurt my ears with the gum tips that the pros have which is great! But my only gripe with them is that i have to keep pushing them in my ear cause they dont feel as secure as the generation 1s that came out originally (i upgraded from those). Great battery life, noise cancellation is just as good as the pros, overall its a great buy especially if you love airpods without the gum tips.
